Balenciaga has revealed a series of unique portraits featuring the house’s 3XL Sneaker.
The campaign was shot by Chris Lensz and features two models in a domestic setting wearing the iconic sneakers in a monochromatic eggshell colourway.
The new footwear design exaggerates elements of an archetypical high-performance running shoe with a super-wide silhouette. Technical mesh in varying scales and thick laces add to a unique overall texture.

The shoe’s combined shape, complexity of design, and visual details create an almost illusory effect, where edges and surfaces are seemingly expanded as if with a magnifying tool. A distressed version evokes the 3XL’s original vintage inspiration.
The 3XL Sneaker is available now in Balenciaga stores and on balenciaga.com
As summer ends and September arrives, the transition to a new season offers a perfect opportunity to reset and refocus.
Whether you’re gearing up for a busy autumn season at work, or just looking to refresh your routine, we’ve put together a guide for the perfect way to set the tone for the months ahead.
The change in seasons is an ideal time to declutter your living space. Start with one area at a time, whether it’s your wardrobe, desk, or kitchen. Donate items you no longer need, store away summer clothes, and organise your belongings. A tidy space can significantly impact your mental clarity, making you feel more in control and ready to tackle new challenges. Try the “one in, one out” rule – each time you buy something new, eliminate something old. This will help you maintain a clutter-free space moving forward.
September is like a mini New Year, offering a chance to revisit the goals you set earlier in the year. Take some time to reflect on what you’ve achieved so far and what still needs attention. Adjust your goals as necessary to align with your current priorities, and break them down into actionable steps. Setting a few fresh, attainable goals can give you a renewed sense of purpose as you head into the final months of the year. Use a planner or digital app to map out your goals. Set deadlines and reminders to keep yourself on track.
With the laid-back vibe of summer behind you, September is a great time to establish or revise your daily routine. Whether it’s waking up earlier, incorporating regular exercise, or setting aside time for mindfulness, creating a structured routine can boost productivity and reduce stress. Consistency is key, so start with small changes and gradually build habits that will carry you through the season. Consider creating a morning ritual that sets a positive tone for the day, such as journaling, stretching, or enjoying a cup of tea in silence.
As the pace of life picks up, it’s crucial to prioritize your well-being. This includes both physical and mental health. Make sure you’re eating nutritious meals, getting enough sleep, and staying active. Additionally, carve out time for self-care activities that help you recharge, whether that’s reading, taking a walk in nature, or practising meditation. Consider trying a new wellness activity this fall, like yoga, meditation, or a new sport. Exploring different forms of self-care can keep things fresh and engaging.
Summer often scatters friends and family in different directions, with vacations and travel taking centre stage. September is a great time to reconnect with your social circle. Plan a get-together, whether it’s a casual dinner party, a weekend hike, or just coffee with a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Rebuilding these connections can provide emotional support and a sense of community as you move into the busier months.

Tennis is more than just a sport; it’s a lifestyle. Whether you’re watching the world’s elite players at Wimbledon or enjoying a friendly match at your local club, tennis offers a unique blend of physical challenge and social engagement. For those new to the game, here’s a guide to help you step onto the court with confidence and style.
Understanding the Basics
Tennis is played on a rectangular court, which can be made of grass, clay, or hard surface. The court is divided into two halves by a net, with service boxes on either side where the ball must land when serving.
Invest in a high-quality tennis racquet that suits your level of play. Brands like Wilson, Babolat, and Head offer options that balance power and control. Tennis balls are also essential, with pressurised balls being the standard for most play. Don’t forget proper attire—think breathable, stylish outfits that offer both comfort and a nod to tennis tradition. Brands like Lacoste and Ralph Lauren excel in this area.
The Rules of the Game
Tennis scoring can seem complex at first. A match is divided into sets, typically best of three or five. Each set is made up of games, and each game starts at “love” (zero). The first point won is called “15,” the second “30,” the third “40,” and the fourth wins the game, unless both players reach 40, resulting in a “deuce.” A player must then win by two points to take the game.
The serve is one of the most crucial aspects of the game. It begins each point, with the server standing behind the baseline. The ball must be hit diagonally across the court into the opposite service box. A typical game consists of alternating service turns, offering players the chance to showcase their power and precision.
Familiarise yourself with the basic shots in tennis—forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. Each has its technique, and mastering them is key to developing a well-rounded game. A forehand is typically the strongest shot, hit with the dominant hand, while the backhand can be a one-handed or two-handed stroke.
Court Etiquette: Playing with Grace
Many high-end clubs have dress codes that require all-white attire, a nod to the traditions of Wimbledon. Even if your club is more relaxed, opt for classic, sophisticated outfits that pay homage to the sport’s storied history.
Tennis is a gentleman’s (and gentlewoman’s) game, where sportsmanship is paramount. Always shake hands with your opponent after a match, and remember to maintain composure, even during intense points.
Arrive on time for your matches. If playing at a club, book your court in advance and be mindful of the time limit, as others may be waiting.
Elevating Your Game: The Social Aspect
Tennis is as much about the social experience as it is about the sport itself. Post-match gatherings are a common tradition, whether it’s enjoying a glass of champagne at the club bar or hosting a garden party after a day on the court. Attending prestigious tournaments like Wimbledon, the US Open, or the French Open is not only an opportunity to witness world-class tennis but also to immerse yourself in the vibrant social scene that accompanies these events.
Joining a Tennis Club
If you’re serious about tennis, consider joining a private club. Many luxury clubs offer state-of-the-art facilities, coaching from former professionals, and a social calendar filled with events that cater to an affluent clientele. Membership can be exclusive, but the perks—such as access to pristine courts, wellness centres, and gourmet dining—make it a worthy investment.

Audemars Piguet has revealed the latest addition to the house, with its new miniature Royal Oak quartz timepiece.
The new watch measures a mere 23 mm in diameter and is executed in a choice of 18-carat yellow, white or pink gold.

These mini monochrome timepieces combine the strong aesthetic codes of the original Royal Oak with the shimmering brilliance of Frosted Gold to create a striking visual effect.

Inspired by the Manufacture’s rich history of miniature and jewellery watches, this trio of petite watches offer a contemporary interpretation of the 20 mm Mini Royal Oak launched in 1997.

Discussing the new launch, Ilaria Resta the Chief Executive Officer at Audemars Piguet said: “These mini creations pay tribute not only to Audemars Piguet’s long tradition of miniature and jewellery watches, but also to the women who have left their mark on the history of the brand, including Jacqueline Dimier to whom we owe the first Royal Oak for women, and Carolina Bucci, the mastermind behind the Frosted Gold finish.”

Indeed, through rethinking the proportions, architecture, design and performance of the smallest Royal Oak ever made, the new “Mini Oak” collection builds on the Manufacture’s legacy to open up horizons for the slenderest wrists, while adapting to contemporary lifestyle with a quartz movement offering over seven years of battery life.

For Fall/Winter 2024, BOSS is joining forces with Istanbul-based streetwear label Les Benjamins to launch a collection that explores interculturality – where East meets West.
More than a collaboration, the pairing of the two brands marks a celebration of shared histories, cultural dialogues, and the unifying power of creative expression through reflective storytelling.

Founded in 2011 by designer and photographer Bünyamin Aydin, Les Benjamins has surged to the forefront of luxury streetwear, blending Turkish heritage with contemporary culture through compelling stories and a unique design philosophy. HUGO, known for its unparalleled tailoring and signature street style, brings its storied craftsmanship to the partnership with Les Benjamins.

HUGO x Les Benjamins is a tribute to the rich tapestry that defines our global narrative. By combining bold and eclectic Middle Eastern aesthetics with the modern mood of HUGO’s tailoring, this capsule of street looks and accessories invites wearers to embark on a stylistic journey inspired by history, curated by culture, and tailored by tradition.

The 18-piece selection comprises statement-making men’s, women’s, and gender-neutral styles. In menswear, highlights include a raw-edged co-ord, a varsity-style bomber jacket and a boxy double-breasted suit, along with laid-back pieces including graphic T-shirts and a swan-motif sweatshirt. A co-ord set – with a tailored blazer and matching skirt – also features in the womenswear offering, which includes other bold designs such as wide-leg pants, tank tops, hosiery, and a contemporary take on the classic white shirt. The gender-neutral segment of the capsule features a striking black trench coat and casual-cool bucket hat.

Throughout the collection, recurring iconography weaves a story of love, unity, and trust. A sketched swan emblem serves as a symbol of unity between Turkey and Germany, while embroidered rose details signify the enduring love that connects families and partners, despite the distances that may separate them. A double-key insignia also stands out, acknowledging the strength of the “Key Kids” – the children of Gastarbeiter, who wore their home keys around their necks. Demonstrating independence and responsibility from a young age, they returned to empty homes while their parents worked. The double-key emblem not only honours resilience but symbolizes the capsule’s ambition to unlock doors for the next generation, offering them a path to create their own narratives. Complementing these rich motifs, the HUGO x Les Benjamins logo tag adds a signature touch to each piece, uniting the collection under a banner of collaborative excellence.

“HUGO x Les Benjamins is a vibrant exploration of cultural intersections, where the rich heritage of Istanbul’s streets meets HUGO’s self-expressive style,” says Marco Falcioni, SVP of Creative Direction at HUGO BOSS. “This collaboration is more than just a merging of aesthetics; it’s a dialogue between traditions, a blend of histories, and a bold statement on the power of fashion to bridge worlds and inspire individuals across the world. Embracing Les Benjamins’ unique viewpoint and HUGO’s innovative design DNA, we’ve created a collection that celebrates the spirit of discovery, the joy of creative expression, and the shared journey of interculturality.”

Saudi Arabia has announced new plans to support and develop the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve.
The plan is a comprehensive roadmap in line with global standards, covering the environmental, economic, social, tourism, and cultural aspects of the 24,500 square kilometre Reserve, which includes 15 distinct ecosystems, ranging from mountain ridges to coral reefs in the northwest of the Kingdom.
The plan enables the efficient and effective management of the Reserve. It establishes key guidelines for restoring and conserving wildlife in line with the latest global standards, including guiding species reintroduction plans through modern technologies and setting a framework for developing and enhancing the ecotourism ecosystem.
This includes Red Sea Global’s AMAALA tourism development, which is located within the Reserve. The Reserve also features in four sites on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List for the Kingdom and is aiming to become the world’s most famous heritage tourism destination for environmental conservation, whilst achieving the necessary balance with the needs of the local communities.
The Integrated Development Management Plan follows the completion of intensive studies to determine the historical and current state of the Reserve’s environment and the steps needed to restore the ecosystems, flora and fauna to the state it was in a century ago.
The Reserve is home to 15 distinct ecosystems, ranging from mountain ridges, through life-giving wadis to the coral reefs of the Red Sea, creating an exceptional level of biodiversity. Twenty-three historically occurring species have been selected for reintroduction, 16 of which are extinct within the Reserve’s borders, four are Critically Endangered, and three are Vulnerable according to IUCN listings, including the iconic Arabian oryx, Arabian leopard, and cheetah.
An extensive habitat restoration project supports this wildlife reintroduction program, aiming to protect and conserve the Reserve’s 400-plus native plant species. The Reserve aims to become a tourism destination that offers visitors a diverse terrestrial and marine experience while simultaneously ensuring the protection of its ecosystems and biodiversity.

Silvia Venturini Fendi’s vision comes to life through the Art de la Table pieces in white Limoges porcelain, re-imagined with a deep blue captivating FF geometric graphic that pays homage to archival.

Completing the décor experience are rattan and leather vases presented in natural tones, perfect on their own or to create dynamic combinations within any space. Candles come in two luxurious styles, carrying the iconic Pequin pattern or a hand-interlaced leather lid.

The colour palette is a visual delight, encompassing a spectrum of hues including sand, ivory white, luminous citrine, midnight blues, liquid silver, mauve orchid, tangerine, gold, crimson red, teal, and ebony.

Mary Katrantzou has revealed her debut collection for Bvlgari, as the house’s new Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories. For the collection, the designer was inspired by the eternal city of Rome, the Italian home of Bvlgari.
The new collection introduces a new pattern called “Calla” which is also the name of her debut collection.

Discussing the latest release, Katrantzou said: “One of the first things I wanted to create for Bvlgari was a pattern, an identity, the ‘Calla’. I was inspired by the intricate mosaics of the Terme di Caracalla, a fragment of Ancient Rome that formed the inspiration for the now iconic Bvlgari “Divas’ Dream” collection. That was the foundation for my first collection, a statement of intent. The motif, a sensuously curving fan, has a compelling femininity and universality, connecting with other cultures, and other meanings. It links with the ginkgo leaf and with the calla lily.”

Historic inspiration
The magnificent Terme di Caracalla, built in the third century AD, was heralded as one of the seven wonders of Rome in antiquity. Named after the Emperor under which they were constructed, they were centres for socializing, for cultural exchange and they formed the heart and soul of ancient Roman life. Across the floor of the baths, a distinct fan-shaped polychrome mosaic in marble tesserae in rich, jewel-like tones – pearl white and amethyst, emerald and gold – form an instantly identifiable pattern, first revealed after over four decades in 2015 and 2016, when Bvlgari’s patronage allowed significant restoration to these ancient works of art.

These historic environs already provide rich inspiration for the Maison. The mosaics are echoed in the feminine fan shape that inspired Bvlgari’s Divas’ Dream collection. That fan motif resonates across many cultures today. It mirrors the ginkgo leaf, symbolic of strength and resilience, and the sculptural shape of the calla lily. Calla is drawn from the Greek, for ‘magnificent beauty’, and today the lily is an emblem of purity and beauty, of union and rebirth.

Inspiring new designs
For her first Leather Goods and Accessories collection, Mary Katrantzou uses the ancient lines of the mosaics to inspire the ‘Calla’ motif. It is expressed through complex matelassé and pavé crystal treatments on the iconic ‘Serpenti Forever’ silhouettes, starting from the new ‘Serpenti Sugarloaf’ a padded-volume nappa shoulder bag which draws both its form and name from the exquisite and rare high-domed variant of Bvlgari’s signature cabochon cut. The intricate lines of the matelassé are precision engineered and crafted by specialist Bvlgari artisans in the Maison’s historic leather goods Atelier in Florence.

Introduced in Katrantzou’s debut is the Serpentine Duo handbag, a new tote with a trapèze shape that directly recalls the faceted cut of precious gems. Its forged metal handle, featuring a double Serpenti head on each side, is directly inspired by the Maison’s rich legacy. The sinuous form and finely engraved surface detail is realized by Bvlgari’s unique jewellery savoir-faire, translated to leather goods. It is evocative of a precious jewel in and of itself, an ancient amulet with the symbol of the two-headed serpent. The serpentine duo includes a leather version for daily use and an evening one covered with crystals, meticulously placed by hand to ensure perfection.

Also introduced is the ‘Ginkgo’ clutch, a representation of this pattern through the pure, singular form of one of its motifs. Suspended from a leather bracelet, it defines ‘Calla’ as an emblem by extracting it from the interlocked pattern it creates in repeat, to champion the device as a silhouette. Expertly executed in fine Nappa leather and moulded metal, it melds the artisan work of jewellery-making and leather craft in a single piece.
