Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas is leading Louis Vuitton’s new Blossom campaign.
The incredible creations were designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, the Artistic Director of Watches and Jewellery at Louis Vuitton. Prior to her current position, she had a leading role on Tiffany & Co’s design team.

The house’s popular star-shaped flower emblem features widely across the collection.

Meanwhile, the Blossom motif was first introduced to the house in 2012, before being reborn in 2016.
The first in a series of four unique Rolls-Royce Droptail commissions, named ‘La Rose Noire’ has been unveiled by the car manufacturer.
The new design is estimated to cost more than $30 million, making it the most expensive car in the world.

According to the marque, the name and design of the new vehicle was inspired by “the romance and allure” of the black baccara rose.

Rolls-Royce said that the design of the new car “incorporates the most complex expression of parquetry in Rolls-Royce history,” with 1,603 wood pieces hand-finished and hand-placed over an almost two-year period.

The new vehicle also comes with a matching champagne chest, designed to house a vintage grown by the new owner, and features a wearable Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept timepiece built into the car, and detachable for wear.

Commenting on the new launch, Alex Innes, Head of Coachbuild Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars said: “Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail is glamour distilled. The guiding inspiration for this dark, bold and powerful commission was the Black Baccara rose, which was a significant point of affection for the client and a source of fascination for the design team.”

He continued: “ Its rich and complex character informed our creative exploration, influencing the palette, composition, and intricate detailing of the motor car. It led us to blend radically modern design concepts with age-old exquisite craft techniques while using materials that subtly reinforce the clients’ deep connection to France. Our shared commitment to shaping a meaningful and progressive design statement has culminated in a deeply significant expression of the patron’s character and a new pinnacle for contemporary craftsmanship.”
Here are all the basics you need, for a solid day-to-day skincare routine.
Know your skin type
The first rule of skincare is to know your skin type. Determine whether you have oily (spot-prone) skin, dry skin, combination (a mixture of both), or sensitive skin (this last type tends to easily react to products). This will guide you in choosing the right products for your specific needs.
The power of three: Cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise
Cleanse your face twice a day using a gentle facial cleanser. This helps remove dirt, oil, and impurities without stripping your skin of its natural oils. ExfoliatIng you will want to do less frequently (think 2-3 times a week) to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. This can help prevent ingrown hairs and improve the texture of your skin. Finally, invest in a moisturiser. Even if you have oily skin, using a lightweight moisturiser can help maintain the skin’s hydration balance and prevent dryness.
Prevention is the best policy
Use broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every morning, even on cloudy days. This helps prevent sun damage, premature ageing and reduces the risk of skin cancer.
Shaving technique and aftercare
If you shave, use a sharp, clean razor and shaving cream or gel to minimize irritation. Shave in the direction of hair growth to prevent ingrown hairs. In terms of shaving aftercare, use an alcohol-free, soothing after-shave balm to calm the skin after shaving.
Healthy lifestyle
Everything you put in your body can affect your skin. Be sure to stay hydrated and consume a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, as nutrient-rich foods support overall skin health. Alongside a healthy diet, make sure you get enough sleep. As a rule of thumb, aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to allow your skin to repair and regenerate. Similarly, High-stress levels can impact your skin’s health. Practice stress-reduction techniques like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing.
Avoid harsh products
Avoid harsh, alcohol-based skincare products as they can strip your skin of its natural oils and cause irritation.
Stay hygienic
Keep your hands clean and avoid touching your face frequently to prevent the spread of bacteria.
Focus on the eyes
Around the eye, skin can be particularly sensitive and prone to damage. f you have concerns about under-eye puffiness or dark circles, consider using a lightweight eye cream designed to target these issues.
Keep at it
It can take time to see results when you change up your skin routine (as it can take 4-6 weeks for skin cell renewal). Stick to your skincare routine consistently to see improvements over weeks and months. If you have any particular concerns, seek the advice of a skincare professional.

First presented on the FENDI Men’s Fall/Winter 2023-24 runway, the ergonomic new bag can be worn in two ways: with its newly developed central Chiodo pivot (meaning ‘nail’ in Italian), the straps can slide from a double backpack use to a practical single-handle carrying.

Rosemary oil is having a moment on the hair-health scene. Often praised for its potential benefits for hair health and growth – from TikTok supports to hair care professionals – here are five reasons you should consider adding rosemary oil to your hair care routine.
It can potentially improved hair growth
Rosemary oil is thought to stimulate hair follicles, which can promote hair growth. Some studies suggest that it might increase blood circulation to the scalp, thereby encouraging the growth of new hair strands.
It might reduced hair thinning
The potential ability of rosemary oil to promote hair thickness and reduce hair thinning is linked to its ability to strengthen hair follicles. This can lead to a fuller and healthier appearance of hair.
The scientific stuff: DHT inhibition
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is a hormone that contributes to hair loss, particularly in individuals with a genetic predisposition to pattern baldness. Some research indicates that rosemary oil might inhibit the production of DHT, potentially slowing down hair loss.
Scalp health
Rosemary oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties, which can contribute to a healthier scalp. A clean and balanced scalp environment is important for supporting healthy hair growth and preventing issues like dandruff and scalp irritation.
Oil improves hair strength and shine
The nutrients in rosemary oil, including antioxidants and vitamins, can help improve the overall health of hair strands. This might result in stronger, shinier, and more manageable hair.

Collagen is a protein that plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and elasticity of your skin, joints, and other connective tissues. Sadly, however, it declines as we get older. While there’s no surefire way to “boost” collagen production dramatically, there are several natural approaches you can consider to support its production and maintain healthy levels.
Nutrient-Rich Diet
Consume foods high in vitamin C, as it is essential for collagen synthesis. Citrus fruits, berries, bell peppers, and leafy greens are good sources. Incorporate foods rich in amino acids like proline and glycine, which are building blocks for collagen. These include lean meats, fish, eggs, and dairy products. Antioxidants are important too, as they help protect collagen from damage caused by free radicals. These include foods like berries, dark leafy greens, nuts, and seeds in your diet. For meat-eaters, bone broth contains collagen, as well as skin-on poultry, and fish with bones. For vegans, look out for meat-free collagen supplements which can be added to shakes or juices.
Avoid Excessive Sugar and Processed Foods
Sugar is one of the biggest enemies of collagen. Excess sugar consumption can lead to a process called glycation, which can damage collagen and elastin fibres. Minimizing processed foods and sugary drinks is beneficial.
Supplements
Collagen supplements are available in various forms, such as powders, capsules, and liquids. However, the effectiveness of these supplements in boosting collagen production isn’t fully established, and results may vary.
UV Protection
Protect your skin and hair from excessive sun exposure, as UV radiation can degrade collagen fibres and lead to premature ageing.
Lifestyle Factors
Get regular exercise to promote blood circulation, which can support nutrient delivery to skin cells. Get adequate sleep, as sleep is crucial for overall tissue repair and regeneration. Chronic stress can also contribute to collagen breakdown. Engage in relaxation techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, and yoga.
Hydration
Like with most things health-related, be sure to drink plenty of water, as it helps maintain skin hydration, which is essential for healthy collagen production.

During the warmer months, our skin can need a little extra care – especially after sun exposure.
Here are five soothing, natural face mask ideas to help when skin is particularly sensitive. Remember to cleanse your face before applying any mask, and do a patch test before using a new ingredient to ensure you’re not allergic or sensitive to it.
Cucumber and Aloe Vera Mask
Cucumber has a cooling effect and helps hydrate the skin, while aloe vera soothes and moisturises. Blend or mash half a cucumber and mix it with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
Yoghurt and Honey Mask
Yoghurt contains lactic acid to gently exfoliate, while honey provides hydration and has antibacterial properties. Mix 2 tablespoons of plain yoghurt with 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
Oatmeal and Milk Mask
Oatmeal is soothing and can help calm irritated skin, while milk adds a softening effect. Blend 1/3 cup of oatmeal into a fine powder, and then mix it with enough milk to form a paste. Apply the paste to your face and allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes.
Papaya and Honey Mask
Papaya contains enzymes that can gently exfoliate and brighten the skin, while honey adds hydration. Mash a ripe papaya and mix it with 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
Green Tea and Aloe Vera Mask
Green tea has antioxidants that can soothe and protect the skin from environmental stressors. Brew a cup of green tea and let it cool. Mix 2 tablespoons of green tea with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply the mixture to your face and rinse off after 15-20 minutes.
As always be sure to consult with a dermatologist if you have specific skin concerns or conditions.

Leather goods house, Coach, has just launched its new Coach x Observed By Us collection.
The new capsule was designed in collaboration with Los Angeles-based illustrator and designer Jessica Herschko and actor Kirsten Dunst, with pieces in the collection inspired by Dunst’s wardrobe.

The house describes the new launch as a “celebration of the spirit of imagination and wonder found in everyday things.”

The collection features ready-to-wear, bags, footwear and accessories that capture the collaborators’ appreciation for iconic American archetypes like t-shirts, hoodies, floral dresses and jeans, reimagined with hand-made touches.

To create the collection, Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers and the duo took inspiration from pieces found in Dunst’s closet, blending the playfulness and nostalgia that defines her personal style with the house’s heritage of craftsmanship and spirit of self-expression.

The collaboration’s colour palette is inspired by Coach’s heritage colours explored in saturated hues that convey an offbeat, youthful naiveté.

Kim Kardashian is known for starting a trend or two, most recently she has helped to popularise the injectable Traptox.
The phrase is short for “trapezius botox”, a technique which uses Botox (or similar injectables such as Dysport and Jeuveau) to relax the trapezius muscle found in the neck.
The treatment is used to create a slimming effect in the neck, shoulders and jawline as well as a more defined appearance. Even better, the treatment can also help ease neck pain.

The area – due to the prevalence of computer work desk culture, time spent looking down at our phones and other modern lifestyle reasons – can cause the muscles in the area to be tense, causing the neck to look shorter, shoulders rounded and also cause significant physical pain in some people.
Like traditional Botox, the treatment tends to last a maximum of six months. As with all aesthetic treatments, be sure to consult a medical professional and only visit a licensed practitioner.

Mindfulness or meditation
Dedicate a few minutes to mindfulness, deep breathing, or meditation. This can help calm your mind, reduce stress, and set a positive tone for the day.

The new beauty trend that has taken over social media – dubbed mascara cocktailing – is the latest way to get the most out of your eye makeup.
So, what exactly is it? The most literal explanation is in the trend’s name – mascara cocktailing is mixing together different mascaras in order to get your supposedly ‘perfect combination’.

The trick to the new trend is working quickly. Rather than literally mixing the different formulas (thank goodness) you simply need to layer the different mascaras on top of each other.

For example, applying the lengthening mascara, before the thickening mascara – resulting in – at least in theory long, thick lashes.

Beach makeup should be light, natural, and designed to withstand the sun, sand, and water. The goal of beach makeup is to look fresh and natural while protecting your skin. Embrace your natural beauty and enjoy your time in the sun! Here are some tips to achieve a fresh and radiant beach makeup look.
Start with sunscreen as a base
Before applying any makeup, make sure to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays.
Skip heavy foundation
Opt for a lightweight and breathable tinted moisturizer or BB cream instead of a heavy foundation. This will even out your skin tone without feeling too heavy. Similarly, be sure to only use a little lightweight concealer where needed, such as under the eyes or to cover any blemishes. Blend well for a seamless finish.
Bronzer for warmth
A light dusting of bronzer on the high points of your face (forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin) will give you a sun-kissed glow. Make sure to blend well for a natural look.
Cream blush
If you use blush, go for a cream option which gives a natural flush to your cheeks and has a more dewy finish compared to powder blush. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks and blend with your fingers.
Don’t forget waterproof mascara
Opt for a waterproof mascara to prevent smudging due to sweat or water. Waterproof formulas are more resilient and will stay put throughout your beach activities.
Minimal eye makeup
Overdoing eye makeup up can look too much at the beach. Keep your eye makeup minimal. You can apply a neutral eyeshadow shade on your eyelids and define your lashes with waterproof mascara. Avoid heavy eyeliner as it might smudge in the heat.
Tinted lip balm
Choose a tinted lip balm with SPF to add a touch of colour to your lips while keeping them moisturized and protected from the sun.
Set your look
Finish your beach makeup with a setting spray to help your makeup last longer in the heat and humidity. Look for a setting spray with SPF for added sun protection.
Touch-Up Essentials
Pack a small makeup bag with essentials like blotting papers, a travel-sized sunscreen, lip balm, and a mini brush or sponge for quick touch-ups throughout the day.
Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out. Hydrated skin holds makeup better and looks more radiant.

Retinol, often hailed as the “superhero ingredient” by experts and skincare enthusiasts, offers a plethora of skin benefits to combat ageing, acne, pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. However, this potent ingredient requires careful consideration, an understanding of its types, and proper usage to achieve the desired results while avoiding potential side effects.
Minimalist, the pioneering skincare brand known for its affordable and effective skincare solutions, shares its ultimate guide to harnessing the magic of Retinol for your unique skin concerns.
What Exactly Is Retinol?
Retinol belongs to the family of retinoids, which encompass all vitamin A derivatives used for topical application. Unlike other retinoids, such as retinoic acid or tretinoin, that require a prescription, Retinol is available over the counter.
Benefits of Topical Retinol for Skin
How to choose the right Retinol for your skin?
Seek out stable forms of Retinol, such as encapsulated versions, to maximise benefits and minimise irritation. Opt for milder Retinoid derivatives, like Retinol, for their effectiveness and lesser side effects. Consider a minimum concentration of 0.01% Retinol or higher for optimal results in targeting signs of ageing, fading acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and overall enhancing skin health. You can achieve its maximum benefits by using at least 2% serum containing Retinol or Retinoid derivatives. Since serums are lighter in feel and have a higher percentage of the active compound, they are better options than topical retinoid creams. Also, a serum ensures deeper penetration of the ingredient into your skin because it is composed of very fine molecules. In contrast, the bigger and heavier molecules in the creams don’t penetrate deeper.
How to use Retinol Serum?
At night, after cleansing and toning, take a pea-sized quantity of Retinol on your fingertips with a dropper, dab the product onto your face and neck; strictly avoid the lips, eye area (including eyelids), and corner of the eyes, and massage gently until it has absorbed into the skin. Moreover, start with 2-3 times a week and gradually work your way up as tolerated, and make sure your skin barrier is healthy before using Retinol.
At what age should you use retinol?
Except for pregnant or breastfeeding women and those under 18 years of age, anyone can begin using retinol. The ideal time to start Retinols is in your mid-’20s or early ‘30s.

Cairo-Dubai start-up Pew has recently been creating waves in the creative industry.
Founded in January 2017, Pew rapidly emerged as a disruptive force driven by unmatched creative brilliance offering a rebranding strategy to spatial design experience.
The dynamic duo behind the design bureau, Nourhan Wahdan and Al Hassan Elwan, joined forces to challenge traditional design norms, bringing together cemented industry experience backed by their unorthodox ways, to create a design studio unlike any other. The founder’s unique, unconventional design approach echoed back, seeing the bureau in its first year establish profound, long-term partnerships with some of the globe’s biggest household brands including Youtube, Google, and Lipton in the region.
It’s just one of the many design agencies, which are proving the benefits of choosing local talent when engaging with audiences from the Middle East region.
Indeed, Co-founder Nourhan Wahdan explains the advantages of knowing the local market: “As a creative, I’ve always held originality in very high regard but with such a fast-paced market. I’ve come to realise that it’s more about agility and being ready to adapt and accommodate change.”
Other brands under their belt include brands such as Unilever, Lipton, Tabby, Swvl, RiseUp, Dukkantek, UN Women, Sync School, Idealz, and SOKNA, solidifying their position as the go-to design and branding studio in the MENA region.
Last year, they also expanded into the US market for the first time, setting up a second office in Los Angeles, California. The duo made the strategic move to adapt to new opportunities in the US market whilst still offering and retaining Middle Eastern roots.
No doubt this is just the beginning for the Arab creatives, who have become trailblazers in the creative industry.
Your skin changes throughout your life, so it’s important to make sure you’re taking the best care of your skin in relation to your age group. Here are all the tips you need to know for skincare in every decade of your life, from your 20s and beyond.
Most people in their 20s are blessed with naturally healthy skin, there are however some things you can do to preserve and enhance the skin’s natural vibrancy.
Skincare Routine
This is the time to establish a basic skincare routine including cleansing, moisturising, and using sunscreen daily to prevent premature ageing.
Eye care
Again, like a basic skincare routine, this is the best age to start using a gentle eye cream to prevent early signs of fine lines and puffiness.
Overall health
There are plenty of other skin care tips that are relevant at all ages, that you can start implementing now (see the “Skincare for all ages” section below).
Even if you skipped on skincare in your 20s, have no fear – there is still time to improve and rejuvenate your skin during your 30s.
Focus on antioxidants
Integrate products with antioxidants like Vitamin C to combat free radical damage and promote collagen production.
Retinol is key
Consider introducing retinol into your skincare routine to address fine lines and uneven skin tone.
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate
Exfoliate regularly to encourage cell turnover and maintain skin radiance.
Night cream and a peptide eye cream
Start using a nourishing night cream to provide extra hydration and repair. Look for creams which use Vitamin C and resveratrol. In terms of eye cream, invest in an eye cream with peptides to target more advanced signs of ageing.
Expand your products and start to focus on your neck and decolletage too as you enter your 40s.
Change up your creams and serums
This is the time that you want to focus on deep hydration and moisture retention, look out for products (specifically creams and serums) which promise to provide richer hydration. Use serums containing hyaluronic acid and peptides to boost collagen and plump the skin.
Neck and décolletage care
In your 40s you will also want to extend your skincare routine to include the neck and chest area. Shop around for products which specifically target these areas, as they can need different care than the face or body.
Experiment with different facial oils
Facial oils are a great way to lock in moisture and help to nourish and restore your skin’s natural barrier.
Gentle skincare
This is the age where you really want to begin to use products that are less harsh, such as a gentle cleanser to avoid stripping the skin of natural oils.
Lift and firm
Look for skincare products with ingredients like peptides and retinoids for firming and lifting effects.
Regular Facials
Consider regular facials or treatments that target specific ageing concerns.
Rich Moisturisers
Opt for richer, more emollient moisturizers to combat dryness and sagging.
Be vigilant about skin cancer
In your 50s and beyond, the chance of developing skin cancer begins to increase. Be sure to regularly check your skin for any unusual growths or changes, and immediately contact a doctor if you have any concerns.
At this age, it’s important to protect your skin as becomes significantly drier and potentially more sensitive.
Focus on products for dry skin
In your 60s and beyond your skin will start to become dry far more easily. Use gentle products, warm (not hot water), and a soft cloth for your face and be sure you apply a gentle, creamy moisturiser within the first few minutes of bathing or taking a shower.
Use a humidifier
Both air conditioning and heating can cause the air to become a lot more dry, which impacts the skin. To combat the effects, use a humidifier in your home or workplace.
Wear gloves while doing housework and gardening
As the skin is a lot more sensitive, take preventative steps, such as wearing gloves when doing tasks which could impact the skin, such as washing up, housework or gardening.
These universal tips are good for all ages to improve your skin, whether you’re 21 or 85.
Nurture your skin from the inside
At any age, it’s important to focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins for healthy skin and hair. Also, make sure to drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and glowing, and prioritize overall health through exercise, getting enough sleep and stress reduction.
Sun Protection
Regardless of your age, it’s never too late to start benefiting from sun cream. Start using sunscreen regularly to prevent sun damage and maintain healthy skin.
Remove Makeup
It (probably) goes without saying – no matter how tempting it is not to, always remove makeup before bed to prevent clogged pores and breakouts.
Consult Professionals
If you’re considering more advanced treatments or have questions regarding your skincare routine, be sure to consult a dermatologist or a skincare professional.
