Anne Hathaway and Zendaya Are the Faces of Bulgari’s 2022 Brand Campaign “Unexpected Wonders”

Bulgari announces the launch of its latest 2022 brand campaign, starring global ambassadors Zendaya and new-comer to the brand Anne Hathaway.

Titled “Unexpected Wonders”, the new Bulgari brand campaign presents its jewellery and watches creations, worn by five extraordinary women. The campaign was shot in Rome, an eternal source of inspiration for the brand.

To present the creations, the brand enlisted longtime friends of the house such as American actress Zendaya, BLACKPINK singer Lalisa aka LISA and Chinese actress Shu Qi, along with two prestigious new entries, Academy-Award winning actress Anne Hathaway and U.S.-based Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Together the five women epitomize the diversity, equity and inclusion driving Bulgari’s ethics and values, as well as confirm Bulgari’s status of Jeweler of Stars.

Anne Hathaway is captured wearing sumptuous High Jewellery creations, timeless pieces from the Serpenti range and refined jewellery and watches of the Divas’ Dream collection. At the same time, Zendaya unveils with sophistication the High Jewellery works of art and expresses her personality through the B.zero1 and BB collection.

Along with starring in the still images, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway are the protagonists of a brand movie directed by Academy Award-winner Paolo Sorrentino. In the scenes, Anne and Zendaya explore a magical rain of flowers and a breathtaking view of the magnificence of Rome, whilst wearing the wonderful jewels of the Bulgari collections.

Each dish is exquisitely presented with bursts of flavour, and guests can enjoy the cuisine and the views during the day for lunch or from sunset into the night.

Fi’lia, which means daughter in Italiam, takes a front-row seat as the region’s first female-led restaurant. Located in the new SLS Hotel, Downtown, this picturesque restaurant has made an impact as one of the most Instagrammable spots this year for its spectacular panoramic skyline view terrace. Although the heat has turned up outside, you can still enjoy impressive sights from the cool indoor dining lounge, whilst tasting delicious Italian cuisine through lunch and dinner.

At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa

This wouldn’t be the ultimate scenic round-up, without mentioning the tallest restaurant in the world. Located 442 metres high, on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, At.mosphere provides a view like no other. An exquisite selection of gastronomical food compliments this breath-taking view as the culinary team boasts a critically acclaimed menu with ingredients sourced from around the world. It’s the perfect place to meet friends, discuss business or just watch the world go by while enjoying innovative interpretations of international cuisine. Why not indulge in a signature Armani golden cappuccino whilst taking in the energy of the dancing fountain water below.

Tasca

Located on the sixth floor of Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Tasca is an exciting restaurant from culinary genius José Avillez. It was an emotional moment for the cast, including Priscilla Anne Presley, the late Elvis’ wife, who attended the premiere. We’re sure we are going to see a lot more from Austin Butler in the future, and we can’t wait to see the film once it’s released here on June 23rd.

Rolls-Royce Presents its Second Boat Tail Commission

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars present the next chapter of its Boat Tail commissions with one of the world’s most exclusive car designs.

Last year Rolls-Royce presented its first Rolls-Royce Boat Tail commission at the annual automotive Oscars, the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, on the shores of Lake Como in Northern Italy.

With only three of these exclusive Boat Tails designs to be made, the first in the series, lacquered in a soft blue, topped the list of the world’s most expensive cars, worth a whopping $28 million.

This year, Rolls-Royce has revealed the second edition of Boat Tail commissions. It tells a story utterly unique and personal to its owner, reflecting their own history, tastes and sensibilities. It is a masterwork of restraint, sophistication, elegance and attention to detail.

This second edition is commissioned by a patron whose family business has grown from his father’s origins in the pearling industry, making this unique Boat Tail car a reflection of family history on the water. The Boat Tail automotive is entirely hand-built, inspired by the racing yachts of the early 20th century.

A level of sophistication, garnered from the client’s extensive knowledge of luxury is clearly visible throughout the design. At the onset, the client presented Rolls-Royce with four pearl shells from his private collection, each chosen for their unique colour and complexity. The shells provided inspiration for the exterior colour, a shimmering blend of oyster and soft rose, one of the most complex and bespoke finishes ever created by the brand.

In every respect, this remarkable motor car is completely unique and personal, a memory of the client’s father and of a tradition dear to the family.

Kourtney Kardashian Marries Travis Barker Dressed in Dolce&Gabbana

Kourtney Kardashian tied the knot with Travis Barket this weekend in Portofino, Italy. This was the couple’s third wedding and they enlisted the helo of Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana who hosted and styled the entire weekend. Here are all the latest updates on their special day.

Since Travis popped the question to Kourtney last October, on a beach surrounded by candles and petals, we’ve all been waiting in anticipation for their big day.

Kourtney and Travis previously exchanged vows twice, first in Vegas, and the second in California. Both ceremonies were private affairs and the first in Vegas was not legally binding. The Californian wedding had two guests present, Kourtney’s grandmother Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell and Barker’s father, Randy Barker.

This most recent and third ceremony delivered the glitz and glamour we had all been waiting for and saw members of the Kardashian family in attendance. The ceremony was held in Portofino, Italy at Villa Olivetta, a home on the estate of Dolce&Gabanna fashion designers Domenico Mario Assunto and Stefano Gabbana.

The Kardashian clan enlisted the help of Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana who took care of everything by styling guests, decorations and furnishings. Kourtney wore a one-of-a-kind Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda lace and satin corset mini dress and a sweeping embroidered veil. Kourtney designed the dress herself, with the help of the house’s designers. She was inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie and said that “designing it was a dream come true.

The headpiece was hand-embroidered with flowers inspired by Portofino’s gardens and featured a depiction of the Virgin Mary, based on one of Travis Barker’s many tattoos. Accompanying this religious design were the words, “family loyalty respect.” Kourtney styled her dress with tulle, fingerless gloves and pointed lace pumps. Barker wore a black double-breasted suit, also designed by the Italian house.

Many other guests wore iconic pieces by Dolce&Gabbana during the weekend’s celebrations. Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner arrived in fitted archival dresses while Kris Jenner wore a sheer leopard print gown, that matched the DG Casa furniture and homeware pieces.

In addition to this stunning ceremony, guests indulged in traditional Italian cuisine served on the Dolce&Gabbana porcelain Carretto print plates. Could this be in line for the most talked about wedding of the year?

Congratulations to Kourtney and Travis on this wonderful day!

On May 15th, 2022, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express headed to Cannes for the first time in its history. Onboard the train, select art deco carriages were transformed into luxurious pop-up spa suits in partnership with Dior, for an extraordinary journey through time.

The experience was reserved for attendees of the Cannes International Film Festival, selected brand ambassadors and friends of the house, including Charlbi Dean, Cesar Domboy, Christian Serratos, Huda El Mufti and Rose Bertram.

In three separate skin-care cabins, decorated for the occasion in the colours of the house, beauty therapists awaited the guests ready to provide the ultimate travel-pamper session. The bespoke programme included a signature deep tissue Dior facial to sculpt and firm the face, ready for the exclusive festival.

In addition to the spa, Dior had other surprises in store for guests. Alongside a lavish cocktail party, a gourmet dinner was cooked in the evening, created by Michelin-Star chef Jean Imbert, who is also in charge of the menu at 30 Montaigne, the emblematic Dior restaurant.

Julia Roberts Presents Trophée Chopard 2022

Julia Roberts presents the Trophée Chopard award to up-and-coming film stars during a prestigious dinner on La Croisette.

On the evening of Thursday 19th May, at the Carlton Hotel Beach Club in Cannes, the official Trophée Chopard award dinner was held. The ceremony welcomed numerous actors and VIP guests who gathered to honour the two winners of this prestigious award.

Since 2001, at the initiative of Artistic Director and Co-President of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele, the Trophée Chopard has been honouring new talent in the film industry. The ceremony is always filled with emotion and celebrates the promising beginnings of an actress’s or actor’s film careers. This prize is annually integrated into the Cannes Festival calendar, as the Maison reaffirms its unconditional support to the art.

This year, actress Julia Roberts assumed the role of the godmother of the Trophée. She presented the award to Sheila Atim and Jack Lowden. These two winners were chosen in association with Variety magazine by the Trophée Chopard Academy, made up of former winners and godmothers/godfathers of previous editions.

The award highlights new talented pair and holds high hopes for their future in the industry. Guerlain for Bees Conservation Programme

20th May 2022 marks the latest edition of World Bee Day and Guerlain is calling for assistance from its communities around the world in support of its Bee Conservation Program. We discover how you can BEE involved.

Can you imagine a world without bees? If this fuzzy, little, striped insect was to no longer exist, most fruits, flowers and seeds would disappear forever, taking with them an infinite number of irreplaceable colours, flavours and smells. It would completely disrupt the balance of our ecosystem and so the protection of this species is as important as ever.

Across the world, intensive farming, vanishing habitats, climate change and so forth are drastically impacting the health of bees, both wild and domestic. In a commitment to preserving the bee population, Guerlain has developed a Bee Conservation Programme.

Bees have been at the heart of Guerlain since they first graced the iconic Bee Bottle in 1853. The bee has remained a constant source of inspiration for the brand, with honey-infused products and signature bee designs appearing across many of its product packages.

So how can you get involved? Between World Bee Day on 20th May and Biological Diversity Day on 22nd of May, Guerlain will be donating 20% of all its sales to the programme, with the aim of raising €1 million across the three days. Additionally, €20 will be donated for every repost of the visual created by Tomáš Libertíny including the hashtags #GuerlainForBees and #WorldBeeDay.

An applaud to Guerlain for its sustainable efforts and contribution to protecting our BEEautiful planet.

Prada Launches an Exclusive Pop-Up Experience in Dubai

Prada Tropico launches its second experience in the United Arab Emirates, we discover the hypnotic shop windows and exclusive pop-up boutique.

Located at the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, shoppers can discover an exclusive collection of colourful accessories for men and women. From raffia style bags to bold and bright hats and small accessories, you’ll find everything you need for a summer vacation.

The pop-up itself is unmissable with multiple combinations of coloured stripes and vibrant lighting effects to create a hypnotic retail experience. The multicoloured designs can be found in two different locations within the mall; the permanent Prada store located on level one and the ground floor pop-up beneath the central glass atrium.

In the Prada pop-up section, the large, ivory-white and green stripes mark the entrance and give way to an explosion of stylised tropical forest, with hundreds of Prada hats of various colours, models and materials growing like leaves and flowers on green metal trunks and branches. Collections of shoes and bags can also be found here, creating a luxurious accessory wonderland.

In the windows, meanwhile, intense contrasting colour pairings and geometric patterns create graphic effects, playfully creating an opposition between the interior and exterior. Inside, the displays are dominated by a neon Prada triangle, an iconic symbol of the brand.

Coloured stripes also feature in the garments in the store’s special collection, giving a burst of energy to flowing silk blouses, mini, calf-length and full skirts, distinctive terry-effect knitwear and casual men’s shirts and shorts.

The Prada x Cass Sneaker Capsule Collection

Prada collaborates with artist Cassius Hirst in its latest America’s Cup sneaker capsule collection.

In a unique project with Prada Linea Rossa, artist Cassius Hirst, known as Cass, collaborates to reinvent the America’s Cup sneaker across a full range of special pieces in a rework of the 20th century design classic for a 21st century generation.

Cassius Hirst painted his first pair of sneakers when he was 14 as a gift for his father; legendary artist Damien Hirst. Growing up in a household where exposure to art was inevitable, sneakers became his canvas. His work has gathered the attention of celebrities such as A$AP Rocky & Rihanna, as no two pairs are the same. His hand-sprayed painting technique ensures each pair is a unique work of art.

The sneakers are designed in four different styles, with 22 varying designs. Each style draws its name from the world of music, reflective of the interests of Cassius and the passions of his fans; ATT4CK, D3CAY, SUST4IN, REL3ASE.

The capsule is showcased in a still and motion-image campaign by Axel Morin. The surreal performance invades a pristine space as each character wears the sneakers, paired with one-of-a-kind coordinated masks. The soundtrack to this unique artistic campaign features a soundtrack that was also specially created by Cass.

All styles are hand-worked in Italy by Prada in a meshing of traditional craft and cutting-edge imagination, following Cass’s style, no two pairs exactly alike. The bespoke sneakers are each labelled with a distinct Cass signature and sold in a co-branded Prada box.

The Cass x Prada collection is an edition limited to 3,000 pairs globally, on sale now through a selection of Prada boutiques and via prada.com.

A Standing Ovation for Tom Cruise in Cannes

Tom Cruise receives the honorary Palme d’Or at the Cannes International Film Festival as Top Gun: Maverik is screened, and guests walk the red carpet in splashes of colourful eveningwear.

As the second film to premiere in the Top Gun sequel since the first was filmed in the 1980s, it’s no surprise that this was an emotional day for the cast and those who attended this year’s Cannes International Film Festival.

As a cluster of French fighter jets took to the sky, streaming red, white and blue smoke, it was announced that Tom Cruise had received the honorary Palme d’Or award. The stars and celebrities at the event cheered and gasped as they enjoyed watching the film and stunts play out, and as the screening ended a 5-minute standing ovation applaud came from the crowd.

Hermès Beauty Unveils Hermèsistible Lip Oils

Hermès beauty unveils its latest sensory experience with a collection of lip oils infused with colour and fragrance.

Hermèsistible lip oils are the newest addition to the Hermès beauty line and feature a collection of six colourful, fruity options. Focused on the senses of sight, smell and taste, these oils provide a delectable, fresh and tasty touch, adding shine and hydration to the lips with its potion of delightful components.

The formula is composed of 97% natural ingredients that leave a protective, nourishing film on the lips, an emollient complex that maintains and boosts hydration and a high concentration of precious sandalwood, a true “liquid gold” that counterbalances the fruity notes.

These flavourful lip oils reveal a taste of colour; plump fruit picked in an orchard, freshly squeezed juice and the faintly acidic nectar of a sun-ripened pomegranate. Each taste shines through in vibrant colours that include sunny coral, spiced rosewood, light-filled beige, fresh pink, sparkling purple, and crisp red.

“Hermèsistible is the known unknown, an enchanting and reassuring surprise. Through these colour scents, I have sought to share memories and emotions, without regressing into the past.
