Italian luxury house Dolce&Gabbana has opened its first brand centre in Saudi Arabia.

Located in the historic Bujairi Terrace at Diriyah, this sprawling 1,500-square-metre boutique blends the brand’s signature Italian elegance with the Najdi architectural heritage of the Kingdom.
The unveiling of the brand centre included a private fashion show, showcasing an exclusive collection designed for this monumental occasion.
The space, designed by the Carbondale studio under Eric Carlson’s direction, seamlessly integrates Dolce&Gabbana’s contemporary aesthetic with the traditional desert-inspired Najdi structures. Central to this architectural marvel is a tent-like area that allows sunlight to stream through naturally, echoing the essence of Saudi Arabia’s desert culture.
The boutique’s layout reflects Dolce&Gabbana’s renowned style, offering a comprehensive selection of its collections. From high fashion to accessories, fine jewellery, and even Dolce&Gabbana Casa home décor, the space is a sensory delight. The inclusion of an exclusive Abaya section underscores the brand’s commitment to honouring and celebrating Saudi traditions.
In addition to retail offerings, the brand centre houses the DG Caffè. A culinary fusion of Italian and Saudi flavours, the café’s menu offers a thoughtfully curated selection that caters to local tastes. Its design juxtaposes ethereal light with intimate, shadowy interiors, creating a dynamic ambiance.
“Diriyah’s new Dolce&Gabbana boutique epitomises our vision of creating a world-class luxury destination,” said Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of Diriyah Company. “This launch not only highlights the city’s rich heritage but also positions Diriyah as a premier hub for global luxury.”
Dolce&Gabbana CEO Alfonso Dolce echoed this sentiment, emphasising the significance of Diriyah as a meeting point of tradition and modernity. “This brand centre is not only a tribute to Saudi Arabia’s cultural legacy but also a strategic milestone in strengthening our presence in this growing market.”
The boutique’s meticulous craftsmanship is reflected in its choice of materials – golden mosaics, Murano glass, and polished metals are harmoniously paired with marble, limestone, and velvet. These elements create an opulent yet culturally resonant space, embodying the fusion of Italian and Saudi artisan traditions.
Diriyah itself is undergoing a remarkable transformation, poised to become a vibrant live-work-play destination with over 1,000 retail outlets and plans to attract 50 million annual visitors by 2030. With the addition of the Dolce&Gabbana brand centre, the city continues to establish itself as a benchmark for luxury and lifestyle developments.
