Loro Piana has just released its new SS23 Resort Collection, inspired by the summertime spirit of Italy.
Perfect for jetting to Rome, Portofino or the Amalfi Coast, the collection expresses the freedom of the summer season, through silhouettes that glide over the body in fabrics that combine silk, cotton and linen.
The palette for the new SS23 resortwear ranges from the colours of dawn to sunset, from dynamic striped and floral prints to subtle, muted shades.
Discussing the new collection, a spokesperson for the maison said that the collection “immerses itself in the breeze of the season, transporting us to an iconic Mediterranean backdrop, an endless mosaic of landscapes and images, a refreshing respite.”
Highlights include the flower ceremony print suits in shades of orange across the collection. From the menswear, the iconic André shirt teamed with the Bay swimming costume.
In the womenswear, the Alvy trousers, worn with the straight-sleeved Olga shirt and the reversible Karlie coat in silk georgette, with a floral motif in two different tones on the inside and outside.
