Cannes Film Festival 2017 has come to an end and finished with celebrities going out in style on the red carpet at the closing ceremony. With one last chance to show off their fashion credentials, key actresses of the night did not disappoint.

Diane Kruger took home the prize for Best Actress for her role in In The Fade, a thriller that centres around a hate crime in Berlin. She picked up her award in a custom-made Jonathan Simkhai dress with an off the shoulder design and voluminous sleeves. The all-black look teamed with Chopard jewels made for a sophisticated and contemporary choice for her final night at the Festival.

Jessica Chastain chose Zuhair Murad for her final appearance on the red carpet as a juror of the Film Festival at the closing ceremony. The dress was white, long and backless, and embellished with red crystal beads; a structured bodice giving way to a flowing train. The light and bright colour made an impact as she stood out clearly from the red carpet and the red accents looked great with her red hair.

Fan Bingbing, also a juror at the Festival, joined Chastain on the red carpet with a final look courtesy of Atelier Versace. This dress had a real wow-factor, the colour was modern and romantic yet the structure and under-layers gave it an edge; a perfect choice that suited her style.

Uma Thurman really decided to go out with a bang with undoubtedly her strongest look of the Festival. The stunning gold gown by Atelier Versace was covered in fringing that looked fantastic as she walked and did a little shimmy for the cameras. The dress was a perfect fusion of old-school Hollywood glamour and signature Versace sultriness, and the gold tone looked fantastic with the actress’ hair colour and skin tone.
