Cannes Film Festival 2017: The Best Dressed On Day 7

Day 7 saw the photocall for another film starring Nicole Kidman, 'The Beguiled,' plus the official 70th anniversary celebration of the Festival where stars pulled out all the stops on the red carpet.

At the photocall for The Beguiled, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning put on an all-white display in pretty daytime looks from Loewe and Alexander McQueen respectively.

Wide leg trousers were also a highlight of the more casual attire, from Diane Kruger at the 'Kering talks: Women in Motion' panel to Sofia Coppola at The Beguiled photocall.

But the main event of the day was the official 70th celebration of Cannes Film Festival.

Naomi Campbell dazzled in a jewel encrusted Atelier Versace that faded into a feather train. Nicole Kidman chose a gorgeously decorative Armani Privé dress.

Uma Thurman also went for feathers, this time it was Prada pink for a fun yet sophisticated look. Elle Fanning wore a floral embroidered dress from Dior.

Jessica Chastain went for an unusual colour once again with her orange Armani Privé gown. Tilda Swinton added her usual quirky twist in her sparkly black jumpsuit from Chanel.

Diane Kruger looked stunning in a grey tiered gown from Prada, accessorised with a black choker. Isabelle Huppert chose an unusual but completely beautiful piece from Louis Vuitton.

Marion Cotillard continued the trend for split front dresses with her custom made number by Armani Privé. Salma Hayek went for a quirkier choice in this embellished Gucci dress.

Charlize Theron kept it classy in a sophisticated semi-sheer gown from Dior. Adele Exarchopoulos went for gold sequins in her Louis Vuitton dress.

Kristen Scott Thomas chose a lovely shade of coral in her Dior Couture gown. Whereas Juliette Binoche kept things monochrome with her Armani Privé gown.

Eva Longoria kept up the body-con trend with her black sparkling dress by Pamella Roland. Liu Wen added her own twist on red carpet chic with this stunningly sparkly pin-stripe suit by Jean Paul Gaultier.
