Once in a while there comes a shoe design that your gut tells you will leave a mark in fashion history. The time has come for the new Dioressence. What makes these heels stand out, you ask? It is simply that they look understated, which creates effortless beauty. They are classic and timeless; and in terms of quality they are made with skilled craftsmanship, so women will find them irresistible for work and play. They are perfect for the office or worn with a cocktail dress.

The sublime masterpiece has been illustrated by artist Ignasi Monreal as part of their advertising campaign. The flattering décolleté and the pointed extremity elongate the leg and underscore the arch of the foot; the heel, done entirely in leather, which accentuates its delicateness, height and pitch elongates the silhouette and highlights the curve of the leg. Slightly impertinent, Dioressence is the new Dior stiletto.

Made a few kilometers outside of Venice, Italy, where shoemaking know-how is a story of passion and regroups more than 100 manufacturing steps, Dioressence heels come in a variety of material: in satin, finished lamb, patent and iridescent calf leather.

They also come in a wide array of colours, including two essential shades closely associated with the Maison: Black, which Christian Dior considered the most elegant of colours, and pale pink, which he considered “the colour of happiness and femininity.” But for the more daring, this shoe comes in ochre, military green, cognac, Trafalgar red, bronze, white, anthracite gray and shades of blue from ink and azure to navy and midnight. The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior stated: “A touch of colour can be enough to change your appearance; heels go with everything.” And so it does, we say.
