Tod’s presented its Spring/Summer 2022 collection “An Italian Light Life” in Milan on 24th September 2021.

Continuing to reaffirm its link to the world of art, the Italian House worked with artists who tell a story of craftsmanship through their creations.

The collection sends a message of freedom and lightness with relaxed summery designs that draw on elements from the world of sport but are also perfect for urban life as well as on a relaxing summer vacation. While pushing the limits of design, the collection doesn’t forget the House’s codes and DNA.

Materials are carefully chosen for their unique properties from lightness to versatility while the finest leather and jersey are used to construct add a sense of quality and good taste to the summer wardrobe.

The balance of the collection is a very important factor that mixes short trench coats, jackets with a masculine imprint and perfect cut, windbreakers and bikers with rubber gommino patches and lightweight parkas that make you think of moments in the open air.

The continuation of the T Timeless project makes pieces instantly recognisable with the logo featuring throughout on buckles shoes and bags.

Footwear has an androgynous feel consisting of sandals and sneakers with macro rubber soles, T Timeless loafers and ankle boots with a heightened platform.

Bags include small and compact T Timeless handbags in a range of colours including timeless classic shades with vivid notes of yellow, turquoise and bright red.

After previously collaborating with Vanessa Beecroft and Thomas De Falco, for the Spring/Summer 2022 season, Carlota Guerrero now tells a story of her journey through the craftsmanship tools and the simulation of a virtual lab. On the Mediterranean notes of the piece by Rosalia NANA – Ch.9: Concepción, seven female figures, confront each other with material sculptures, recreating a symbolic atelier.
