Versace is having a moment on the red carpet at Cannes this week, with several celebrities stepping out in archive and current looks from the house. 

Hollywood icon Diane Kruger wore Atelier Versace from the FW97 collection while attending the “The Shrouds” Red Carpet at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival, while Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif wore a checkerboard double silk duchesse jacquard dress with necklace embroidery from the Versace SS24 collection at Marché Plage des Palmes during the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Abu Deif wore the Versace ensemble while attending the Variety Global Conversation at Marché Plage des Palmes during the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Kruger wore a custom-made floor-length crystal mesh gown with a draped waist and three-dimensional voluminous shoulder detail inspired by an archival design from the Atelier Versace FW97 collection.

Elsewhere at Cannes, Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova was spotted wearing Versace while leaving Hotel Martinez in the French Riviera city. The actress wore a checkerboard double silk duchesse jacquard top with necklace embroidery and a matching skirt from the Versace Spring-Summer 2024 collection. Gianni Ribbon slingback pumps and a Medusa ’95 tote bag complete the look.

Heading up the menswear at House of Versace, actor Xavier Dolan wore a tailored white suit, featuring a single-breasted blazer with Medusa buttons, matching pants, and a Versace logo vest while attending the Kering Women in Motion Awards at the festival.
