ARAB FASHION COUNCIL ANNOUNCES THE DATES FOR THE SECOND EDITION OF ARAB FASHION WEEK – FALL WINTER 2016-17

From March 16 – 19, 2016, the region will witness the second edition of Arab Fashion Week where designers will showcase their Fall Winter 2016-17 Ready Couture Collections.

 

Following the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural Arab Fashion Week, for SS16 Ready Couture Collections, The Arab Fashion Council proudly announces the second season of Arab Fashion Week to be held in Dubai.

 

The Arab Fashion Council panel will include, HE Cavaliere Mario Boselli – Honorary President, Jacob Abrian – Chief Executive Officer, Fadi Nasr – Chief Operating Officer, Mary Dell’Edera Chief Brand Officer – Raffaella Carnevale – Chief PR Officer, Ilham Ab- bas – Chief Strategy Officer, HE Cavaliere Francesco Pavoni – Chief Financial Officer, Guido Dolci – Chief Marketing Officer, Nicole Purin – Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Ottaija Al Amery – Chief Protocol Officer, and Lara Tabet – Spokesperson.

 

Speaking on the occasion, H.E Cavaliere Mario Boselli, the Honorary President of both Arab Fashion Council and the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana) said: “We are proud to announce the second edition of Arab Fashion Week. We were overwhelmed by the love and response we received for the first edition last year and we are working towards making this season superior in all aspects.”

 

The four day fashion extravaganza will once again represent international and regional Arab designers. Attended by a host of international and regional celebrities, VIP guests and media, this event will leave a mark on the fashion calendar giving the Middle East it’s very own platform to showcase unmatched talent.

 

Jacob Abrian, Chief Executive Officer, Arab Fashion Council said: “The Arab Fashion Council continuously strives to deliver the finest international standards to the MENA region. Through Arab Fashion Week, we built a platform to be the first who defined the term Ready Couture, which means high-end exclusive ready-to-wear collections, the Crème de la Crème of fashion.
