The Armani Group is pleased to announce the opening of its new Giorgio Armani boutique in Dubai. The completely renewed boutique covers over 200 squares metres and has been designed by Giorgio Armani and his team of architects.
It is divided into two different areas, one for women’s and one for men’s fashion. In the men’s fashion area, customers will also find Giorgio Armani Made to Measure, which for the first time in the city is presented in an exclusive, dedicated private room. Giorgio Armani’s Made to Measure service is a study in the fine art of tailoring, and combines the world-famous spirit of Armani with the premium quality of made-to-measure craftsmanship.
The design of the boutique blends craftsmanship and modernity, perfectly complementing the aesthetic of Giorgio Armani’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections for women and men. Materials used throughout include silk georgette for the floors and pearl grey marmorino plaster for the walls. The tables are in teak with black glass tops and there are bamboo details in mirror-effect steel that has been finished with a satin texture to suggest the ribbing of natural bamboo. The accessories area is characterised by transparent shelves that create the impression that the goods displayed are floating. All furnishings are from the Armani/Casa collection.
