Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II is the son of His Majesty King Abdulla and Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan and heir to the Jordanian throne. He is the second of the King and Queen’s children to get engaged in recent weeks following the announcement of his sister Princess Iman of Jordan announced her engagement to New York-based financier Jameel Thermiotis.

The announcement marks a key moment in relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia. At 28, Rajwa Khaled Bin Musaed Bin Saif Bin Abdulaziz Al Saif is the youngest daughter of Saudi businessman Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz al-Saif and his wife, Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmed al-Sudairi. She was raised in The United Kingdom and studied at Syracuse University in New York.

While details of the weddings are yet to be announced, they will be the first for the Jordanian royal family since 2020, when Princess Raiyah, the half-sister of King Abdullah, married British writer Ned Donovan, the grandson of Roald Dahl.

Congratulations to the happy couples.
