Abu Dhabi is set to host a landmark musical event as multi-Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer brings his globally celebrated concert, Hans Zimmer Live, to the Etihad Arena, Yas Island, on the 31st of May 2025.

Renowned for his iconic scores from films such as The Lion King, Dune, and Interstellar, Zimmer will lead his virtuoso band, dancers, and special guest performers in a spellbinding live performance.

This historic concert takes on special significance as Zimmer celebrates Abu Dhabi’s contribution to the Dune films, with key scenes from both Dune and Dune: Part Two having been filmed in the emirate.

Reflecting on the connection, Zimmer expressed his excitement: “I am very excited to be performing for the first time in the city where DUNE TWO was filmed and served as the inspiration for the score. This is our last stop of the Hans Zimmer Live tour, and we are thrilled to be ending it in Abu Dhabi.”
Zimmer will be joined on stage by the original voices behind his legendary soundtracks, alongside a world-class ensemble of instrumentalists. The concert promises to be a genre-defying spectacle that transcends traditional notions of live music, captivating audiences with its multi-dimensional journey through cinematic history.
