Founded in 1910 within the ornate walls of Dar el Bacha palace in Marrakech, Bacha Coffee has long been synonymous with heritage and quality.

Originally a gathering place for some of the 20th century’s most prominent cultural and political figures—including Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and Charlie Chaplin—the palace was renowned for its refined hospitality and the rich aroma of Arabian coffee.

After decades of dormancy following the Second World War, the palace underwent a two-year restoration and reopened in 2017 as the Museum of Cultural Confluences. The revival preserved its intricate Moroccan craftsmanship, from zellige mosaics to hand-carved cedar ceilings. Within this historic setting, the Bacha Coffee Room was reintroduced, echoing the past while offering modern coffee experiences rooted in tradition.
Bacha Coffee’s concept is firmly centred on 100% Arabica beans, chosen for their delicate flavours, lower caffeine content and aromatic complexity. The brand sources beans directly from planters in 35 countries, ensuring top-tier cultivation standards. Each harvest is hand-roasted using traditional low-temperature drum methods and ground with precision to preserve the bean’s character.
With a portfolio of over 200 single-origin and flavoured Arabica coffees, Bacha Coffee celebrates the diversity of global terroirs. Signature offerings include Grand Moka Matari, Zanzibar Gold and Java Blue, alongside exclusive blends such as Magic Istanbul and Vienna Dawn, crafted by master blenders.
From its re-establishment in Marrakech, Bacha Coffee has grown into a global concept. Its headquarters in Singapore coordinate an international presence that spans Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
