These Are The Best Indoor Fitness Places In Dubai

Working out indoors is pretty much the only way to keep fit in Dubai during the summer months. Here are some of our favourite gyms and indoor fitness spaces in the emirate, to keep healthy during the hot weather.

Roar Fitness

If you’re looking for a top-tier indoor gym, Roar Fitness is one of the best. The London import is led by three-time Olympian Sarah Lindsay. Along with her husband, basketball star Rich Phillipps, the duo have created a world-class fitness facility, complete with professional-level equipment, nutritionists and trainers.

Barry’s boot camp is an international icon on the fitness scene. All classes focus on a tough HIIT programme, with a promise of burning around 1000 calories per session. In Dubai, there are two locations to choose from, in Dubai Marina and DIFC. One of the perks of this gym is that there are complimentary grooming products (think shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body wash, body lotion, q-tips, and deodorant) and excellent post-class facilities so you can leave feeling, refreshed and revived as well as fitter.

Based out of Dubai’s creative district, Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz, this indoor workout space is perfect for those based in the middle of the city. Fans of Spin and HIIT classes will love this place. There’s also a social element to this fitness space, with a delightful cafe serving up smoothies and coffees for a post-workout meet-up.

J Club

Luxury hotel group Jumeirah has brought its own five-star gym to the fitness arena. The J Club is based out of the group’s Jumeirah Mina A’Salam hotel and is kitted out with equipment by Olympic supplier TechnoGym. This flexible gym is great for those who prefer to workout indoors in the summer, and outdoors during the winter. With excellent facilities in both areas.
