A-listers gathered in Athens this weekend for the opening of the latest One&Only property in the city.

Celebrities partied throughout the weekend with a panoramic backdrop of the Athenian Riviera, in celebration of the recently opened One&Only Aesthesis, Kerzner International’s first property in Greece.
Once a legendary site of Athenian modernist glamour, the new coastal hideaway in the heart of Glyfada has been reconceived to the ultra-luxury splendour and refinement of a One&Only beachfront resort.

The festivities began with star-studded guests gathering at golden hour for the opening night of Manko Athens, the new day-to-night beachfront destination located at One&Only Aesthesis, fusing Peruvian gastronomy, vibrant nightlife and Manko’s signature live sound.
For its Opening Night, Manko staged a culinary voyage – helmed by head chef Juan David Ocampo – taking diners through a fusion of European, Japanese, Chinese, Creole and Peruvian influences, with menu highlights including Cebiche Lujoso, Red Prawns & Caviar. Manko’s inaugural performance – Ekoa Live Act – entertained the glamorous scene with a fusion ethno-house mix, as the sun set and the evening got into full swing.
After dining at the seductive new hotspot, A-List celebrities, tastemakers, and the Greek capital’s most influential crowd made their way along the private beach to gather at an exclusive starlit party around the Aesthesis pool, to relive and revive the glamour of Glyfada’s golden era.

For its opening summer season, the luxury property has also collaborated with Balmain, with the French house taking over the poolside styling at the hotel throughout the season.
To celebrate, Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing hosted a poolside brunch over the weekend complete with the new Balmain decor.
