Panerai’s Luminor Marina 44mm celebrates the essence of the legendary luminous concept with this new watch created for its particularly high visibility in the dark.

Exactly 70 years after the introduction of the tritium-based luminous substance Luminor, Panerai has created a new model with even greater luminosity. This watch disrupts tradition by going beyond the normal features of hour markers and hands so that when the lights switch off it has full visibility. Its surprisingly light and extremely durable, manufactured with a process of futuristic 3D printing.

Ensuring the model’s fundamental mechanical accuracy and performance is the P.9010 calibre, entirely conceived and developed by the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel. This is an automatic movement only 6 mm thick fitted with the function for quickly setting the time, which at the same time modifies the date. The movement has a power reserve of three days, provided by its twin spring barrels. Water-resistant to a depth of 300 metres, the Luminor Marina 44mm features a strap made of Panerai SportechTM as well as coming with a second rubber strap. This ground-breaking design is limited to 270 pieces.
