Audemars Piguet has unveiled the Royal Oak Joaillerie collection, translating the distinctive geometry of its iconic timepiece into a series of bold jewellery creations.

Debuting with the Haute Joaillerie Risoud Eclipse and Dream of Joux lines, alongside a Frosted Gold series, the collection explores the relationship between watchmaking and jewellery through sculpted links, architectural lines and intricate gem-setting.

At its centre is the Royal Oak, the sport-chic watch designed by Gérald Genta and launched in 1972. From its introduction, the model challenged traditional ideas of luxury watchmaking, combining a robust silhouette with jewellery-inspired detailing. Its alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes created a distinctive play of light, while its hand-finished bracelet brought together tapering links and studs in a design that became one of the Manufacture’s signatures.

The Royal Oak Joaillerie collection revisits these codes in a new context, using the bracelet’s geometry as a foundation for expressive jewellery designs. Each line also draws on Audemars Piguet’s home in the Vallée de Joux, with the landscape, seasons and skies of the Swiss Jura informing its colours, textures and motifs.

Dream of Joux interprets the valley through one-of-a-kind cuffs in 18-carat white, yellow and pink gold. Sophisticated gem-setting evokes frozen lakes, clear night skies and floral forms, with deep blues, vibrant greens, vivid pinks and solar tones. The line also includes a tie necklace and matching drop earrings featuring cascading pear-shaped diamonds, alongside anodised blue titanium links snow-set with blue sapphires.

Risoud Eclipse takes its inspiration from the Risoud Forest and the valley’s history of celestial observation. Its inaugural necklace and matching cuff combine black PVD titanium links and studs with central sugarloaf emeralds surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds, recalling the atmospheric contrast of a forest beneath an eclipsed sky.

Completing the collection, Frosted Gold cuffs and necklaces showcase Audemars Piguet’s distinctive textured gold finish. Developed with jewellery designer Carolina Bucci in 2016 to mark the Royal Oak’s 40th anniversary, the ancient Florentine-inspired technique has since become a signature of the Manufacture

The collection builds on Audemars Piguet’s longstanding jewellery expertise, which has encompassed gem-setting, metalworking and miniaturisation since the 19th century. Its dedicated jewellery workshop, established in the 1980s, eventually led to the creation of bespoke Haute Joaillerie pieces and the brand’s Haute Joaillerie watch collection in 2013.

“A gateway to the past and the future, the Royal Oak Joaillerie collection embodies Audemars Piguet’s free spirit,” says Ilaria Resta, Chief Executive Officer of Audemars Piguet.
