Here, she shares her top three tips to achieve a healthy body and tells us how to maintain it all throughout the year:

TIP 1: Start the morning drinking lemon-infused lukewarm water as it gives you energy for the day. It also eliminates toxins and promotes fast metabolism. You should also not eat processed food including artificial juices and synthetic cookies, not even the packaged ones that say ‘less calories’, ‘healthier’, ‘slimming’ or ‘no additional sugar’ because many of the products can be misleading and not very healthy for you.

TIP 2: It’s good to go to the gym before work because it will help energise you for the day. Try to make it a habit to exercise before having breakfast. If you want to save money, you can also try boxing at home because it’s a great way to burn calories and tone. It is also cheaper to buy boxing gloves and a punching bag rather than paying for regular membership at a gym.

TIP 3: Monitor the portions you eat per meal and always try to have the right balance of nutrients. Healthy living has to become a habit and way of life. Remember balance is key! Always have the right balance of exercise and the right amount of good food. Don’t feel guilty to reward yourself, in moderation, when you have worked hard and achieved results and targets. And yes, that includes having cakes and chocolates too on a rare cheat day.
