Gucci merges the emblems of the House with those of the iconic sportswear brand Adidas.
The many facets of the collection, first presented in the ‘Exquisite Gucci’ fashion show in February during Milan Fashion Week, are further revealed in a new lookbook, anticipating the launch of the collection in stores on the 7th of June.
The series of images envisioned by Alessandro Michele, Creative Director of Gucci, was inspired by archival catalogues. The models wearing the retro-style collection, strike dynamic poses against brightly coloured backdrops, using sports equipment as props.

With the heritage of both brands encoded in a trio of lines, a fixation on stripes plays out across ready-to-wear pieces that echo the silhouettes of athletic staples and leisurewear. Track pants feature the white “Three Stripes” of Adidas on one leg, while the other is defined by the red and green Web of Gucci.
Energetic prints portray how motifs like the Adidas Trefoil and GG monogram find synergy to amplify two legacies. Conventionally formal pieces like leather heels, suede loafers, and silk scarves enter hybridized territory as well, as they are marked with casual codes.

Multiple pieces of the collection are crafted with future-conscious material as both brands share a commitment to innovation, progress, sustainability goals and collective action.
The first Adidas x Gucci collection will be available in select Gucci stores, dedicated pop-ups, online at Gucci.com, and the Adidas app.

Guerlain launches its new honey-infused tint balm, Kiss Kiss Bee Glow, for hydrated and plumped lips.
Bee’s have always been at the heart of creation at House of Guerlain, as the source of inspiration behind many of its products. Guerlain first launched their Kiss Kiss range last year with the Bloom Collection, a shine lipstick made of 95% natural-origin ingredients.
This year the Maison has ventured one step further in its quest for naturality, with the latest Bee Glow collection which is honey-infused making it a ‘must-have’ product. It works by using three main ingredients to regenerate and revive the natural colour of the lips, as well as offering 24-hour hydration. Key ingredients are:
Honey: a precious elixir known for its restorative and healing properties.
Propolis: in tandem with hyaluronic acid, smooths and plumps.
Beeswax: softens for a gliding texture.

“Inspired by bees, this tinted balm is phenomenal. Natural, effective and sensorial, it makes no compromise. It has all the qualities of a must-have! The more you wear it, the more your lips seem plumped up, soft and beautiful.” Says Violette, Guerlain Makeup Creative Director
These addictive melting textures are available in six different shades, from a purply lavender glow, through delicate corals and pinks, to a soft poppy red. This is a balm that truly cares for the lips; soothing, softening, nourishing and plumping… for more beautiful lips day after day.

Guerlain also demonstrates through several partnerships its efforts to preserve biodiversity and the endangerment of bees.

Punta Tragara Hotel, an exclusive residence in Capri, opens its most luxurious suite overlooking the sea, designed by Etro.
This exclusive suite is located in the Punta Tragara Hotel which is situated in the most evocative corner of the island, a silhouette of the Amalfi Coast where nature reigns supreme.
Designed by Le Corbusier, the Swiss architect who envisaged it as a magical place where “body, heart and mind are restored” is suspended between the sea and sky. The Pegaso Etro Suite is a space that emphasises the elegance of these exclusive surroundings with the unmistakable style of Etro Home Interiors furnishings.

A volcanic grey floor and Caprese white walls are combined with a symbolic Tree of Life design that wraps guests in its magical embrace as they enter. The furnishings are designed for royalty; from the dominating, decorative Bombay bed and the soft hand-tufted bamboo silk Varanasi rug, to the customised Kolkata line drawer units upholstered in a neutral-toned fabric. Each detail is perfectly aligned with the designer’s vision and the elegance of the Etro style.

After stepping out onto the sweeping terrace, guests are immersed in the white and blue hues of Capri. These breath-taking views boast iconic white hillside houses, boats that sail along the coastline and a golden evening sun that sets behind the rocks.

If you’re heading to Capri, The Pegaso Etro Suite is now available to guests for booking.

Christin Dior will be launching its latest book this May, highlighting its strong collaboration with Italian photographer Brigitte Niedermair and the House of Dior.
Having become one of the most preferred photographers and friend of the brand over the last decade, Brigitte Niedermair extracts and exalts the essence of the House’s silhouettes in this new publication, emphasising the timeless modernity of Dior’s icons through her innovative photography.
This volume features iconic images from the House, its heritage and expertise. Archives of Christian Dior from 1947 to 1957 are also presented from a new angle, celebrating these exceptional pieces. Seams, linings, and lapels are brought to light in front of the photographer’s lens, yielding the secrets of their construction – a tribute to architecture, a passion dear to Christian Dior.

“Brigitte Niedermair is very much an artist-photographer and not merely a fashion photographer – the latter being too narrow a category and one that she rejects as a definition of herself.” writes Olivier Gabet, Director of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Brigitte’s elegantly defiant portraits and still life images are instantly recognizable and are enriched with inspiring texts and quotes from Maria Grazia Chiuri and Olivier Gabet throughout the book.

The book will be released by Rizzoli New York, from the beginning of April in Europe, and in early May internationally.

Italian menswear brand Zegna launches its new campaign in honour of Oasi Zegna and the iconic route 232.
In the 1930s, the founder of the brand, Ermenegildo Zegna built a road stretching across 44.5 kilometres, linking to Oasi Zegna, a natural area in the Province of Biella, Italy. This road, the 232, is the inspiration behind the house’s latest brand values campaign and celebrates their Fall/Winter 2022 collection: ‘A Path Worth Taking’.
The campaign introduces Oasi Zegna as the home of the brand’s values and 232 as a family of visionaries, connected by a shared set of principles and a progressive vision for the future.
The faces of the campaign are musician Marracash, actor Isaac Hempstead Wright and movement director Yagamoto, who are united in their courage to set new directions and lead change.
“I do not know where my path is taking me. And this is the most beautiful aspect. The more you are afraid, the more it means you have to follow the path” said Marracash.

The 232 is celebrated by acknowledging that the journey is more important than the destination. These passionate people reinforce this theory and are engaged in the present, embracing an attitude that is conscious, curious, and empathetic.
The campaign features candid film moments that shine a spotlight on the dynamic personalities of the three men and their sense of style. It tells personal stories and viewpoints to illuminate the beauty that is found when we move through life with intention and are deliberately driven by a strong sense of purpose.

The campaign also features the new iconic Zegna 232 brand mark, a graphic representation of the road and a powerful symbol charting their journey forward.

The National Museum of Qatar is set to host Once upon a bag: a new chapter of Hermès Heritage, an exclusive exhibition from Hermès.
Between the 28th of May and the 11th of June, the National Museum of Qatar will be hosting the fourth chapter in the Hermès Heritage cycle of touring exhibitions. Titled ‘Once Upon A Bag’, the presentations explore the story of the brand, from its origins to the present day, transcending eras and generations.
This edition, “Once upon a bag” invites visitors to travel back and forth between past and present discovering the history, know-how and design of the House’s iconic accessories.
Structured into themes, the exhibition tells a story devoted to the different families of bags. The scenography draws parallels between fifty or so contemporary models and objects from the house’s collections. Both men’s and women’s, from everyday to travel and sports bags are displayed, presenting the defining stages of their respective stories in this remarkable cabinet of curiosities.

The display begins with the history of the ‘Haut a courroies’ bag, which first appeared in the early 20th century. This artefact with equestrian roots bears witness to the house’s expansion into leather goods, and from then on, how it underwent a great change accompanying the changes taking place in society.
The exhibition continues the story by showcasing exceptional pieces such as the ‘Sac pour l’auto’ the first model to incorporate a zip, and many other designs that became lighter and even more innovative for their time. Finally, the exhibition concludes with a dreamlike world, an imagination of fairy-tale pieces that evoke distant horizons.
If you’re travelling to Qatar later this month, don’t forget to check out this magical exhibition and travel on a journey through fashion history.
The Exhibition will run from 28th of May and the 11th of June at The National Museum of Qatar, Doha.

Hugo Boss is taking the next step in retail sustainability as it invites customers to buy pre-owned items as if they were new. We find out all the details and how to be part of the Hugo Boss pre-loved commitment.
With the launch of a premium online resale platform later this year, Hugo Boss customers will be able to return used items in exchange for online or in-store credit, which can be used towards purchasing new or pre-owned items.
Once fully quality checked, the pre-owned apparel will become part of a curated second-hand assortment for sale on Hugo Boss Pre-Loved, ready to begin a second life in a new wardrobe. The pre-loved service will initially feature clothing, with accessories planned to be added in the future.
In another step to further extend the lifecycle of its products, Hugo Boss will launch a care and repair service in selected German stores, with more key markets to follow.

“Hugo Boss Pre-Loved will support our move towards a circular business model, while our repair service will allow customers to wear their favourite pieces for even longer and reduce consumption of scarce resources,” said Heiko Schäfer, Chief Operating Officer of Hugo Boss.
Globally, resale is a fast-growing market that reduces the environmental impact of the fashion industry. These two initiatives bring Hugo Boss closer to its sustainability and CLAIM 5 ambitions, which include the goal that eight out of ten products are circular by 2030.
The service will be first launched in France in the third quarter of 2022, with the platform planned to expand to Germany, the UK, and the U.S. in 2025.

Celine has revealed its new Fall/Winter 2022 collection, and it’s the epitome of chic French street style.
The runway event titled, ‘Dans Paris’ took place on May 4th and was held across two iconic locations in Paris: Hôtel de la Marine, and Hôtel National des Invalides.
Hedi Slimane, Celine’s Creative Director, paid homage to French history by choosing the newly restored Salons D’Apparat for the backdrop of this show. The 18th-century building is lavishly gilded and decorated with sculptures, mirrors and carvings in nautical themes, and is where the French naval receptions and balls were previously held.
In a contrast to the formal fashion that would have been worn during this era, the models walked through the historic golden hallways wearing denim, leather and sequins, each look completed by framed black glasses: a celebration and understanding of modern-cool-girl fashion.

The collection features distressed bootcut jeans and oversized knits, layered with blazers and long trench coats. Each outfit is paired with black leather boots for warm, wrapped up daytime wear.

For his evening wear and accessories, Slimane focused on dark wintery tones. Black and brown mini dresses, leather skirts and jackets, and even a floor-length sequined gown are all paired with chunky black boots, capturing the chicness and effortlessness of the French style.

Known for his artistic and original designs, Lee McQueen created garments with exceptional technical ability. As the Maison presents its Spring/Summer 2022 collection designed by Sarah Burton, we look at how this legacy continues through the latest embroidery technique.
Inspired by the London skyline and the view from the rooftops of the Alexander McQueen atelier, the embroidered collection is emblazoned with beads, sequin shards and crystals celebrating the elements from dawn until dusk.

The designs reflect the ominous grey London skies by using stormy shades of grey, black and navy, whilst in contrast, adding a detailed silvery pallet to symbolise light sparkling showers and rays of sunlight.

To perfect the placement of embroideries on these extraordinary pieces, the process requires paper drawn patterns delicately pinned to the material, chandelier embroidery is then meticulously handstitched following the artwork using specialist needles.

As with the ready-to-wear, the embroideries for boots, shoes and accessories are also applied entirely by hand.

Celebrities seen wearing custom-made designs include Lady Gaga, Salma Hayek-Pinault and Zendaya.

Piaget’s Ramadan 2022 campaign showcases the jeweller’s Possessions collection.
Filmed in the UAE and Saudi Arabia the campaign titled “Turn Life On” speaks both literally and metaphorically of tradition and evolution. It tells the story of how the two are interwoven using rotation and movement to symbolize the growth of generations, all the while staying true to one’s roots.

Inspired by a popular art movement, the campaign speaks to the concept of time and the importance of how we use it. It leaves us with an empowering message to literally turn life on and become the person we want to be.
The Piaget Possession collection is an ode to elegance that captivates with its spinning elements and awakens the sense of touch that is playful and free.

The film was shot on location in the distinctive destinations of both AlUla, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, featuring the iconic mirrored Maraya Concert Hall and the recognisable Dubai skyline.
