The new beauty trend that has taken over social media – dubbed mascara cocktailing – is the latest way to get the most out of your eye makeup.
So, what exactly is it? The most literal explanation is in the trend’s name – mascara cocktailing is mixing together different mascaras in order to get your supposedly ‘perfect combination’.
The trick to the new trend is working quickly. Rather than literally mixing the different formulas (thank goodness) you simply need to layer the different mascaras on top of each other.
For example, applying the lengthening mascara, before the thickening mascara – resulting in – at least in theory long, thick lashes.
