This summer Celine was forced to cancel the house’s Men’s Summer 24 show, following a series of riots in Paris.
In response, Hedi Slimane shot a film the same month between Paris and Monaco to accompany the new season’s collection.
The result was his “Delusional DayDream” collection through the lens of the “The Show That Never Happened” video.
Scenes were shot at La Gaite Lyrique and Le Grand Rex in Paris, as well as at the Monte-Carlo Opera Garnier, featuring classical ballet dancer Laurids Seidel.
Everything in the new video is the creative work of the house’s versatile designer, Hedi Slimane, who was the creative eye behind the film, photography, casting, collection, styling and set design.
