Celine Reveals “Tomboy” The House’s Summer 24 Collection

Hedi Slimane chose the iconic French landmark – the Bibliothèque Nationale Richelieu – to showcase his latest collection for Celine.

The theatrical backdrop was the perfect place to unveil his preppy, coming-of-age collection, inspired by 90s and 00s trends.

Slimane once again partnered with a musician for the show, to create a unique soundtrack for the collection.

James Murphy from the US indie rock band LCD Soundsystem was tapped by Slimane for the role, performing an extended version of the group’s popular 2005 song “Too Much Love”.

There were plenty of nostalgic designs for anyone familiar with the 90s and 00s, including bootcut jeans, designs worn low on the hips as well as Celine’s take on a track set.

Scroll down to see some of the key looks from the collection.
