Charlotte Casiraghi is the face of Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2022/23 pre-collection campaign, shot by international photographer SMITH.
Casiraghi was a muse for Virginie Viard when she created this collection, capturing her understated elegance, electric attitude and depth through her choice of silhouettes, materials and colours.
“Charlotte embodies the CHANEL allure in a very authentic and natural way, all while remaining true to her own world,” says Virginie Viard.
“Virginie has known me since I was a child. It’s a natural complicity that doesn’t need explanation,” Charlotte Casiraghi explains. When I discovered the collection, I found the things I like to wear every day and what I really feel comfortable in. There are a lot of jeans, shirts, fabrics with a certain depth like velvet… It’s important to be able to choose, to express something different depending on the moment.”
The campaign images are accompanied by a short film where Charlotte takes a walk through a mysterious landscape. This poetic story captures the slow and mysterious elegance of this collection.
The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2022/23 pre-collection will be available in boutiques from July 19th 2022.
