Elie Saab Junior married Christina Mourad this weekend and she stunned in a gorgeous wedding gown by the Lebanese designer
In a lavish three-day ceremony that proved to be the wedding of the year to date, Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab‘s eldest son, Elie Saab Jr, married Christina Mourad on Friday, July 19th.
As a reported 1000 guests headed to the church of Bkerke in the Beirut, Christina Mourad blew attendees (and the entirety of Instagram) away as she arrived in an Haute Couture bridal gown designed by her now father-in-law.
According to reports, the embellished gown took 450 hours to make and included a 4.5-metre train.
The dress featured fine embroidery and intricate patterns, and a high neck bodice was balanced out with a high-volume skirt and a sleeveless cut.
The champagne-hued dress dazzled as it was adorned with thousands of sequins. For the evening, the newly-wed changed into a more relaxed design of a white jumpsuit with a headpiece and an equally glamorous cape.
The couple wed after a 13-month engagement and met several years ago after being introduced by Saab Jr’s little brother, Celio.
