The latest edition of men’s fashion week started in Milan this weekend, highlighting the fall/winter 2023 collection from luxury fashion houses. We reveal some of the highlights so far.

Prada

The Prada Fall/Winter 2023 Menswear fashion show “Let’s Talk About Clothes” was a further exploration of the fundamentals of fashion. It champions its continuing meaning, value and significance today. Designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons the collection features a modern silhouette with slim cuts, and crisp materials giving a new meaning to essentials.

Dolce&Gabbana

Dolce&Gabbana revealed its Men’s 2023 collection “Essenza” at Milan Fashion Week, exploring the essence of the brand. Exploring tailored cuts, innovative proportions, and Italian fabrics and silks. The collection celebrates the craftsmanship of the “Fatto a Mano” (Handmade), through which the values of Italy’s cultural heritage can be recognised. Silhouettes are exaggerated and juxtaposed with fitted corsets and girdles, paying tribute to the brand’s Fall/Winter 1999-2000 collection.

Emporio Armani

The Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2023-24 men’s collection is a tribute to the 1930s aviator and his world, to the sophisticated severity and adventurous precision of his style, to the metallic glints of the planes and hangars. Inspired by the classic pilot’s uniform and accessories, this high-impact collection combines sports, adventure and elegant dressing.

Gucci

Gucci kicked off Milan Men’s Fashion with the presentation of its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. After the recent departure of Creative Director Alessandro Michele, this was the first collection to be designed by the brand’s studio. It was a composition of men’s essentials, with a muted colour palette and statement accessories. This show is the beginning of a new chapter for the house and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
