Dior Cigale bag gets a mini makeover for Cruise 2027

For Cruise 2027, Dior has introduced a mini version of its Cigale bag, reworking the proportions of the design created by Jonathan Anderson.

The smaller format retains the bag’s graphic construction and couture-inspired details, including its single handle, signature bow and sculpted folds.

The silhouette takes inspiration from an architectural dress created by Christian Dior in 1952, which Anderson has described as “my favourite dress in the entire history of fashion”. Intertwined letters spelling “Dior” are applied to the design, adding a playful detail to the structured form.

The mini Cigale is available in Noir, Latte, Hermitage, Beige Trench and Ice Blue, alongside pastel shades Rose Soupir and Glycine. An adjustable and removable shoulder strap offers multiple ways to carry the bag.

The houndstooth motif is also reinterpreted in sequinned fabric and paired with a gold chain. A selection of charms adds further detail, including fabric flowers positioned on the side of the bag, referencing Monsieur Dior’s passion for nature. The new mini Dior Cigale is available in boutiques now.
