In a fusion of luxury and culinary artistry, Louis Vuitton has opened a new store and café in collaboration with acclaimed chef Cyril Lignac at London Heathrow’s Terminal 2.

This exciting venture underscores Louis Vuitton’s commitment to being a Maison of travel and culture, enhancing the airport experience for both domestic and international travellers.

The new café, set against an exceptional, aerodynamic façade designed by Marc Fornes, complements a contemporary Louis Vuitton store that is as much a piece of art as it is a retail space. Fornes, the founder of THEVERYMANY in New York, previously collaborated with Louis Vuitton on a pavilion installation at the 2023 Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan.

The café and store’s design reflects futuristic shapes and innovative technology, echoing the brand’s longstanding inspiration drawn from the essence of travel.

Since 2020, Louis Vuitton has expanded its hospitality offerings, establishing over 20 restaurants, cafés, chocolate shops, and airport lounges worldwide. Each location is uniquely crafted to resonate with the brand’s ethos, from Le Café V in Ginza to the seasonal restaurant in St. Tropez. This café marks the first of its kind in the United Kingdom, promising to elevate the dining experience at one of the world’s busiest airports.

Upon entering this open, avant-garde pavilion, travellers will find a selection of women’s fashion alongside men’s accessories and leather goods. The café features both counter service and table seating, with a curvilinear, second-skin interior designed to create a calming yet inviting atmosphere amidst the airport hustle. Decorated in warm orange and gold tones, the space is enlivened by a series of Quetzal Mobiles by atelier oï, part of the Objets Nomades collection, evoking a whimsical feeling of birds in flight.
