More than two decades after their first groundbreaking collaboration, Louis Vuitton and celebrated Japanese artist Takashi Murakami have reunited once more for a highly anticipated new collection.

The second Louis Vuitton x Murakami collection reimagines and modernises the beloved designs that first graced the world in 2003.

From handbags to perfumes, the re-edition breathes new life into the kaleidoscopic reinterpretation of the Louis Vuitton Monogram, with 200 pieces total in the collection.

In 2003, under the creative direction of Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton first broke new ground by inviting Murakami to reimagine its iconic Monogram. The result was an audaciously colourful collection that blurred the boundaries between fine art and fashion. This re-edition pays homage to that spirit while embracing modern craftsmanship.

The re-edition takes full advantage of advancements in production technology, enabling greater detail and vibrancy in Murakami’s designs. Each piece reflects Louis Vuitton’s dedication to savoir-faire, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity.

From the classic Keepall bags to platform sandals and silk scarves, the collection is a testament to the enduring appeal of the original designs, transcending generations and artistic trends.

To celebrate the launch of the new collection, the house has also announced plans for immersive pop-ups, window displays, and innovative in-store activations to bring the collection to life worldwide.

The 2025 collection will be available to order from the 1st of January 2025. The house also plans to release a second chapter in the collection in March 2025.
