Gabriela Hearst reaffirms her commitment to the planet with Chloé’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection which looks to the future and a world that is repaired.
Instead of concentrating on the negatives and the climate crisis we are facing, Hearst looks forward to a world where our planet has healed from destruction and climate change.
The collection itself was minimal and elegant. A neutral colour palette of sand-coloured leathers, with black and white staples offered the perfect daywear capsule wardrobe.
Hearst also worked with the Gee’s Bend women quilters of Alabama. The community of women used material scraps to create blankets and the gilet worn in the show finale.
