We don’t want to jump ahead, but 2018 has been one of the busiest years for celebrity and royal weddings.

Over the weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow tied the knot with producer Brad Falchuk at her home in the Hamptons wearing a custom-made Valentino couture gown. Last month, Karlie Kloss married Joshua Kusher in an intimate ceremony for family and friends and chose a beautiful creation by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior.

The much anticipated nuptials between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were watched by millions around the world with her Givenchy bridal gown analysed from tiara to train. There was still enough spotlight left from Princess Eugenie who chose Peter Pilotto to design her dress, while close friends of the British royal family Daisy Jenks and Charlie van Straubenzee also received plenty of media attention.

Observing their bridal choices, there has been an overwhelming support for full sleeve or short sleeve gowns with every bride in our edit selected a lace element to her look. Veils ruled supreme, while the hair remained natural and not over styled in either a low bun or soft waves.
