Despite Prince William’s busy tour schedule in Jordan, he took the time to pay a sweet tribute to his wife Kate Middleton.

The Duke of Cambridge re-created a moment from Kate’s childhood when she visited the ancient site of Jerash. In the original family photograph, Kate aged four is standing with her father, Michael, and sister, Pippa.

According to The Telegraph, the Middleton’s lived in Amman, Jordan’s capital, for two and a half years when her father was stationed there as a British Airways manager. Prince William was captured in the same spot as the photograph, which we first saw when it was released ahead of their wedding in 2011.

The British royal continues his tour of the Middle East after spending two days in Jordan.
