SOLARIUM SWIM – RETRO GLAMOUR
www.solariumswim.com
Harry Mason Dent IV and Amelia Lindquist are the couple that launched the brand. Lindquist studied fashion design at Parsons, receiving both a BFA and an MFA from the university. The label ‘accidentally’ happened; originally it was an art project. Mason was shooting ‘80s-style models for a project he was working on and Lindquist would source vintage swimsuits for it but she ended up making them instead. The new collection specialises in ’80s-inspired suiting, from über-high one-pieces held together at the sides with tiny knots to wraparound bikinis that looked ripped from a 1986 Cindy Crawford editorial in Vogue.
JADE SWIM – MINIMALISM

The new swimwear range is made by Brittany Kozerski, a fashion editor at Marie Claire. The style focuses on a clean canvas for the fashion-forward girl. Kozerski highlights day-to-nightwear, with one-pieces doubling as bodysuits. The line is for girls who have a minimal style aesthetic and need a go-to brand for high-quality swimwear that can also translate into ready-to-wear. It is versatile and luxurious, so you can literally throw on accessories and wear your swimsuit for a chic day event with a skirt or trousers.
ROXANA SALEHOUN – DELICATE FEMININITY

LA-based designer, Roxana Salehoun went to school at Parsons in New York City. After graduating, about a year after she was sourcing and developing the basis for the brand. She moved to Los Angeles and launched the line a couple of years ago. Her latest resort collection was inspired by a cream ribbon trim from France; from that, she developed trims and fabrics around it and tiny pleated bows to match the trim. The results are a stunning collection of pretty, playful, feminine and clean-cut designs.
