Practising pranayama (breath control) can be incredibly beneficial for managing stress and promoting relaxation. Square breathing, also known as box breathing or four-square breathing, involves inhaling slowly for a count of four, holding the breath for four counts, exhaling for four counts, and then pausing for another four counts before beginning the cycle again, forming a square pattern. By focusing on the breath and maintaining this rhythmic pattern, square breathing can help calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and increase concentration. It’s a versatile practice that can be adjusted to suit individual preferences, making it accessible for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, offering a quick and effective way to find moments of peace and tranquillity in the midst of daily life.

Sankalpa is more than just a goal; it’s a heartfelt commitment aligned with one’s true desires and values, serving as a compass for personal growth and transformation throughout the yoga journey.
