The iconic Dresden Opera Ball is coming to Dubai for the first time. The cultural event will unite world cultures through music and dance for one special night at Dubai Opera.
Taking place on 14th March 2022 this one night only event will bring together classical music, world culture and celebrity guests in a European style ball.
Dubai Opera will host the glamorous event, which is based on the Semper Opera Ball, the largest classical entertainment event in the German-speaking world that made its debut in 2006 and is a major five-hour live TV broadcast.
The most recent Dresden Opera Ball took place at the beautiful Catherine Palace in St Petersburg, Russia and now it is Dubai’s turn to host this celebration of music, dance and sophistication.
The gala and awards event on 14 March 2022 at Dubai Opera will feature performances from Placido Domingo, Fatma Said, Valeriya, Svetlana Zakharova, Vadim Repin, and the Dresden Chamber Orchestra.
Debutants will also perform a choreographed dance presentation, as part of the programme. The debutant couple will entertain the audience with this traditional dance in which ladies will wear spectacular gowns and gentlemen in stylish tuxedos as they take over the stage in an extraordinary dance exhibition.
A red-carpet reception begins proceedings at 6pm, before VIP guests movie inside Dubai Opera for a gala dinner, classical music performances from the world’s best musicians, and elegant dancing in the style of traditional European balls.
A starry guest list is expected to attend Dresden Opera Ball in March 2022 at Dubai Opera, a one-of-a-kind event that promises to be the most beautiful night of the year.
