What’s your morning routine before work?
I go to the gym. When I lived in Dubai I would try and fit in a morning surf before work, but in Connecticut, that’s a total pipe dream.
How do you decide what to wear in the morning?
I do what I can to spend the least amount of time thinking about what to wear. Everything I own is black so it makes getting dressed pretty easy.
Three items you can’t live without?
A computer, MIDI keyboard and camera.
Favourite place you like to go to in your city?
I live between two cities right now. In New Haven, I like going to the woods for walks. In Dubai, it was Sunset Beach until it got too crowded. I like driving around the Mamzar area when the weather’s right.
What did you do last night?
I’m a grad student at the Yale School of Art where I have converted a small office into a music and performance venue. Last night was our event so I was there setting up and singing bad karaoke.
Complete the sentence: My perfect holiday would be…
A place where I could surf every day and be inaccessible via email.
