Portuguese chef José Avillez has partnered with Maison Christian Dior to create a unique menu inspired by the House’s fragrances.
The menu which will be on offer Tasca restaurant located at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira will see each course paired with some of the House’s most popular fragrances in the Gulf Region.
Chef José Avillez worked closely with the Maison to bring out the notes of each scent in the six-course menu, blending unique flavours to unique dishes that complement the fragrances.
The chosen fragrances to be paired with the menu are: Gris Dior, Oud Rosewood, Oud Ispahan, Purple Oud, Ambre Nuit and the latest addition to the Maison, Tobacolor and dishes such as ‘Burnt Avocado Cocktail and Algarve Prawns’ and ‘Braised Red Mullet Scented with Basil Jam’ will tickle the tastebuds of diners.

The Maison Christian Dior x José Avillez Menu is available at Tasca exclusively for dinner and priced at 600 AED per person, food only, with the option of pairing for 350 AED per person. The menu will be available from Thursday 25 March to Thursday 1 April.
