Sustainability has become a buzz word across various industries and as a step to reduce carbon footprint, Abu Dhabi have unveiled plans for an Eco resort.

Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is set to open in the capital this November and their main objective is to reduce the usage of plastic. Guests will be offered either glass or re-usable plastic bottles that can be refilled at various points around the resort, along with other initiatives unveiled soon.

What else can guests expect from the 293-room resort? There will be 70 suites with six of these offering floor-to-ceiling windows for you to enjoy the views. For couples looking for a honeymoon getaway, or to simply escape for a few days, can choose from a number of VIP suites with your own private entrance.

Foodies will love indulging one of the eight restaurants with cuisine ranging from Levantine to Italian, while the great outdoors offer a 9km beach, perfect for strolls after a meal. For full relaxation, book into the spa and unwind at the Moroccan Hammam.

Staycation with a piece of mind? We can’t wait to book our getaway.
