Saturday 11th June marks International Wellness Day and to celebrate this zen weekend, we’ve rounded up some of the best fitness activities for you to get involved in.

 

It can be difficult to give yourself some ‘me time’ when trying to balance family life, work and all things social, it often gets put at the bottom of our lists. It can be anything from a 5-minute breathing exercise during lunch, minimising social media throughout the day or diving into a good book at the beach. Whether you’re someone who practices well-being regularly or you need a weekend break to put yourself back on track, then this is the perfect opportunity to get that boost. There is a wide range of activities on offer this weekend, so here are some of our favourite yoga and fitness activities to get stuck into. Can you believe that W is offering two free fitness classes on The Palm this weekend, amazing!

Aqua Fit Class: Kick start your day with this special Aqua Fit class that features high-intensity and low-impact water workouts, it’s the morning exercise you need to boost your energy levels and build muscle strength. Not only will you have heaps of fun testing out this new water experience, but it’s the perfect way to keep cool in the morning heat. The class begins at 9 am and is located at Wet Deck.

Sunset Pilates: This class is located in the hotel’s stunning Secret Garden area and is designed to alleviate stress and anxiety. Enjoy body stretches and a relaxing ambience at sunset during this 60-minute session, it’s the perfect way to improve your health, both physically and spiritually.
