This weekend Shaikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Mohamed Al Khalifa presented their Noon By Noor Fall Winter 2025 collection at London’s Somerset House today.
The collection explores the interplay between structure and fluidity, heritage and modernity.
The designers drew inspiration from Bahrain’s architectural landscape, notably the work of Swiss architect Christian Kerez, whose multi-storey car parks in Muharraq have been transformed into communal spaces for art, culture and movement.
“We are fortunate to have been nurtured in art and architecture, both in our home and in our surroundings in Bahrain–a place rich in both, from which we can draw constant inspiration,” said Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa.
“While working on this collection, we focused on finding a sense of balance between structure and curves, elegance and ease, function and frivolity, a balance between generations: a collage of the past, the present and the future,” added Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa.
Precision tailoring is a key feature, with sculptural jackets, draped bodices and sliced silhouettes that subtly reveal slivers of skin. Dresses and skirts carry a bold, dramatic and cinematic quality, each piece carefully crafted in the brand’s atelier. Minimal yet impactful embellishments have been achieved by stripping and fraying wool tweeds and reapplying them onto tulle, creating a lightweight fabric that adds texture, depth and a sense of movement.
In collaboration with sound designer Uwe Doll, an emotive and cinematic soundtrack was created for the collection. The music, described as bold yet familiar, complements the designs and reinforces the theme of evolution over conclusion.
The collection is presented as a study in balance where craft meets technology, and ideas evolve rather than conclude. “Each look was designed to whisper quietly yet make a bold statement—defined, precise, unmistakably Noon By Noor.”
