New & Noteworthy: The Fragrance Edit

Lindsay Judge   |   30-07-2026

A new fragrance can capture the mood of an entire season. From sparkling citrus and sunlit florals to playful gourmands and complex woods, these new releases, seasonal editions and enduring signatures offer seven distinctive ways to scent the summer.

Miu Miu Miutine

Miu Miu brings a characteristically playful spirit to Miutine, subverting the traditional chypre structure with wild strawberry, gardenia and an addictive brown sugar accord. Bourbon vanilla lends warmth, while patchouli introduces a sophisticated depth that prevents the composition from becoming overly sweet.

Tom Ford Taormina Orange

Inspired by the Sicilian coastline, Taormina Orange captures the contrast between sun warmed citrus groves and the cool breeze of the Ionian Sea. Blood orange, orange bigarade and orange flower are sharpened by cardamom before settling into earthy oakmoss, patchouli and salty skin musks.

Amouage Elsewhere

Inspired by the legend of Sindbad, Elsewhere is a richly layered fragrance that evokes the thrill of travelling beyond the familiar. Honey, mango, apricot and tangerine meet ginger and cardamom before giving way to black tea, cappuccino, vanilla, sandalwood and earthy woods.

Sisley Eau du Soir Limited Edition

A longstanding Sisley signature, Eau du Soir remains a compelling choice for warm evenings with its elegant balance of florals, citrus and spice. Its limited edition update is a richer take on mandarin, grapefruit and pepper opening the composition, followed by jasmine, rose, ylang ylang and iris over an assured base of amber, oakmoss and patchouli.

Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Mediterranean Essences

The latest chapter of Chloé’s Atelier des Fleurs explores the landscapes of southern France through four fragrances: Vert Soleil, Sable Lavande, Plage du Figuier and Sous les Pins. Moving between green mandarin, lavender, fig, orange blossom, eucalyptus and aromatic pine, the collection offers an intimate interpretation of the Mediterranean in summer.

La Collection Privée Christian Dior Dior Paradise

Created by Francis Kurkdjian, Dior Paradise pays tribute to the orchards of Christian Dior’s Château de La Colle Noire in Provence. Radiant mandarin and other citrus notes meet the bittersweet creaminess of almond, before floral woods and enveloping tonka bean bring warmth to this fresh gourmand composition.

Acqua di Parma Bergamotto La Spugnatura, La Caletta Collection

The standout fragrance from Acqua di Parma’s La Caletta summer collection celebrates bergamot through the centuries-old Calabrian technique of extracting its essence by hand with natural sponges. Mandarin, bitter orange and grapefruit heighten its brightness, while geranium, galbanum, cedarwood and vetiver bring a green, softly woody finish.
