Roger Vivier has unveiled its Spring–Summer 2027 collection, ‘Vivier en Fleur’, at its Paris Maison during Paris Fashion Week.

Created by Creative Director Gherardo Felloni, the collection revisits the house’s most recognisable codes, bringing them into the present through new proportions, materials, functions and contexts.
Taking its title from the French for ‘in bloom’, the collection uses blossoming as a metaphor for awakening, transformation and renewal. Rather than treating the archive as something fixed, Felloni approaches it as living material, shifting familiar motifs into unexpected settings while retaining their identity.
The Belle Vivier is central to the collection, appearing in a new slingback silhouette set on a spool heel, a shape found in the Vivier archive. A wider buckled vamp gives the design a lighter, more dynamic proportion, while mustard suede, patent leather, vivid colours and satin hues introduce further variations. The iconic silhouette is also reworked in denim and embroidery, juxtaposing an everyday material with the craftsmanship associated with the house.
Lace, another historic element of Monsieur Vivier’s designs, moves into sporty territory. Referencing the crochet and dentelle used in shoes he designed during the 1960s, Felloni translates the motif into new satin and embroidered sneakers. The delicate archival code becomes material, texture and decoration within a contemporary, technical silhouette.
The butterfly, first introduced in July through the Pièce Unique Autumn–Winter 2026/27 collection presented during Paris Haute Couture Week, also returns for Spring–Summer 2027. Now established as a signature motif, it appears as embroidery on satin jewel bags, pointed mules and slingbacks. Its transformation from a couture piece into a broader fashion collection mirrors the collection’s focus on metamorphosis.
The theme extends to denim gilets, where archive-inspired embroideries are combined with crystals, beads and layered sequins. Motifs referencing Parisian façades sit alongside hand-embroidered flowers inspired by the macramé and lace of the 1960s. The result brings couture techniques to bleached and délavé denim.
Jewellery and accessories continue the idea of personal transformation. Modular charms can be combined across chains, jewels and bags, allowing different configurations, while foulards are styled instinctively, knotted onto shoes and bags rather than worn according to conventional presentation.
Across the collection, Vivier’s established signatures are treated less as static heritage than as elements to be altered, combined and personalised. For Spring–Summer 2027, the house places its archive in motion, allowing its familiar codes to take on new forms and contemporary attitudes.
