CHANEL has introduced its latest makeup collection for 2025, called the Camélia Futura, inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite flower – the camellia.

Developed by the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio in collaboration with Cécile Paravina of the Comètes Collective, the collection embodies a fusion of romantic softness and futuristic modernity.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the range, Paravina noted, “There is something very soft and gentle about the camellia’s aesthetic… which is particularly surprising when you know that it is actually a very hardy plant that adapts and manages to flower even in extreme conditions. This duality is the basis for the collection, marrying soft, romantic qualities with colder, more futuristic and modern codes.”
At the centre of the collection is the Camélia Futura Exclusive Creation, a blush trio featuring a gradient from tender pink to apricot, embossed with hand-sewn camellia motifs. Complementing this is the Fluide Enlumineur in an exclusive soft pink shade with a green shimmer, designed to add a touch of iridescent light to the complexion.
The Les 4 Ombres Utopia eyeshadow quad includes pearly, futuristic tones adorned with camellia embossing, while the Stylo Ombre et Contour comes in four versatile shades, combining deep mattes and pearlescent finishes.
For the lips, CHANEL presents two new shades each of Rouge Coco Flash and Rouge Allure Laque. The former features a peach with golden pearlescence and a pink with lilac-blue undertones, offering a shimmery, modern finish. The latter includes a deep rosy peach and a vibrant hot pink with metallic shimmer, reflecting the collection’s avant-garde spirit.
Completing the range, two new shades of Le Vernis – a glittering mauve grey and a semi-sheer pink with pearlescent particles – deliver a refined, romantic finish.
