This autumn, Bottega Veneta unveils a new fragrance collection that is both a tribute to the house’s Venetian roots and an innovation in sensory design under the Creative Direction of Matthieu Blazy.
Each of the five fragrances is a sensory journey, crafted as an “olfactory Intrecciato” that merges ingredients sourced from across the globe, mirroring Venice’s historical position as a nexus of cultural and material exchange. The collection uses 100% natural essences to achieve distinctive scents that evoke the Mediterranean, echoing Blazy’s emphasis on touch and intimacy as fundamental aspects of Bottega Veneta’s craft.
Each fragrance captures an atmosphere unique to its blend: Colpo di Sole is a warm embrace of French Angelica oil and Moroccan orange blossom, radiating the warmth of the Mediterranean sun. Come with Me is a refreshing, sophisticated union of Italian bergamot and French orris butter, balancing citrus with soft, powdery florals. Acqua Sale layers Spanish labdanum absolute with juniper oil from Macedonia, creating the feel of saltwater on sun-warmed skin. Déjà Minuit combines the richness of Madagascan geranium and Guatemalan cardamom in a seductive, lingering blend, while Alchemie juxtaposes Brazilian pink pepper with Somali myrrh, yielding a fragrance that is both opulent and exhilarating.
