Jean Paul Gaultier has announced Ameni Esseibi as the house’s first Arab ambassador.

The Tunisian body-positive model and entrepreneur is known for her unique sense of style and commitment to empowering women of all shapes and sizes.

Discussing her new role with the house, she said “Jean Paul Gaultier is more than just a brand to me; it feels like family. Its identity embodies everything I stand for – rebellion, strength, boldness, fearlessness, sensuality, and a touch of scandal. Growing up, Jean Paul Gaultier was my mother’s favourite fragrance, making it a cherished part of my life. I am deeply honoured to make history as their first Arab ambassador in the region, and this brand will continue to be an enduring part of my career.”

Esseibi’s role will be primarily within the Jean Paul Gaultier Fragrances division. In the notes which accompanied the announcement, the house described Esseibi as bringing “a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the beauty industry, making her the perfect fit for the role.”

The house went on to say that the new “appointment mark[ed’ an exciting new chapter for the brand.”
