A return of the bold lip
Bold dark matte glosses and lipsticks are expected to make a return, as part of the wider “soft goth” trend that was seen across different runway shows.

Taking things back to 1999, there was a revival of metallic eye palettes across several runways.

Emo-esque eyeliner
Another throwback trend on the runway for FW23 was the dark-rimmed total circle eyeliner, last popular a la Kate Moss in 2008. It’s time to get the kohl out again!
The soft cat-eye trend
A softer take on the traditional cat-eye flick was seen on many models, this look at the Alessandra Rich show exemplifies the trend best.
