What is your morning routine before work?

Walking bare foot in the garden and meditating, feeding and playing with my three rescued cats, a healthy breakfast made with quinoa bread, goat cheese, nuts and dry fruits, then scrolling www.theeverygirl.com. Every morning I apply Nuxellence Eclat which is the perfect base for a luminous and natural make-up.

How do you decide what to wear in the morning?

My style is mostly casual chic with a preference for neutral colours such as black, grey or pale blue. I regularly shop at Maje, Sandro and Zadig & Voltaire choosing pieces which are comfortable with an elegant twist. I believe less is more so I prefer a neutral base like a well cut pencil skirt with a masculine shirt by Kooples for instance and then I spice it up with high heels and statement hand bag.

Three items you can’t live without?

My close friends and family are essential. In terms of items: Bose noise cancelling headphones, Kindle and a Samsung phone for its perfect camera to feed my Instagram account @bea_and_the_city.

Your favourite place you like to go to in your city?

In the UAE, an island called Zaya Nurai in Abu Dhabi. It’s the perfect authentic paradise boutique hotel with flowers covering the walls and countless charming relaxing cafes, restaurants and a superb spa. This place makes me happy. In France, I highly recommend a boutique hotel “La Magnanerie.” It’s in the very unique village of L’Isle sur la Sorgues.

What did you do last night?

I enjoyed a delicious and entertaining dinner with two excellent friends at Mario e Mario, a vibrant Italian restaurant in Beirut, then I flew to Istanbul in the early hours of the morning.

Complete the sentence: My perfect holiday would be…

With close friends and family by the sea; reading, sleeping and yoga. I will soon explore the Aegean coast of Turkey and I cannot wait to discover the splendid Macakizi hotel where Nuxe has a spa.

What book are you reading at the moment?

A French novel called “Les gens heureux lisent et boivent du café” by Agnes Martin-Lugand. I am actually reading it again.

Tell us a fact about you that nobody knows.

I dream about finding time to study photography, hence my addiction to Instagram.

Your favourite designer at the moment?

For fashion, I am a strong admirer of the work of Clare Waight Keller for Chloe. An interior designer would be the work of Constance Guisset who created the Vertigo Lamp and I also strongly recommend the talent of Laurence Garrisson from www.ladecorruptible.com to inspire exciting designs for your home.

Your current style inspiration?

For my petite villa, I am definitely inspired by modern Nordic design. I recently discovered the brand Broste from Copenhagen. It is a treasure for tableware. When it comes to fashion, Victoria Beckham’s simple and elegant look is my current preference. I am very impressed by her talent and creative energy.

Who would like to be stuck on a desert island with?

Obviously my boyfriend, but to be more original I’d say Jimmy Fallon because I am certain that every moment before we were rescued would be absolutely hilarious.

Three things you hate?

Violence toward animals, prejudice and cigarettes.

What is your personal motto?

Live in harmony with your values. One day a coach told me: “Accept to disappoint not to disappoint yourself.” And it’s so true!

How do you want the world to remember you?

As someone with a positive and joyful temperament. I hope that I’ll be remembered as someone who brought smiles, joy and was inspiring.
