Tomas Maier debuted his Fall’18 Bottega Veneta collections for both men and women in New York, by referencing the boundless city and its unique residents.

This is was a one-of-the-a-kind event, showing at American Stock Exchange with a complete retro-sleek modern décor set up. A-lists and clients came in for this from all around the world.

Deeply devoted to intricate craftsmanship, Maier’s elaborate pieces came with hints to the skyline. There were multicolor wool dresses, cutout and thoroughly embroidered, revealing the light layers underneath.

Some ensembles were accessories with fine silver chained bags, referencing the New Yorker’s shining and bold architecture. The house of BV is known for its quiet approach, but this time around were jewel-toned silk pyjama sets and onesies- so practical for all the jetsetters out there.

The part-time New Yorker displayed polite yet complicated things worth remembering. Click through the gallery above to view the collection in full.
