We go behind the scenes of the Milan Men’s Fashion Week with Dolce&Gabbana to discover the brand’s Spring/Summer 23 collection.

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes of a fashion show, a craziness below the waves that we don’t get to see as the viewers on the surface. It’s a world of important roles, ensuring that all the looks are coordinated, preparing the models and clothing to fit, timings, music and guests. We discover behind the scenes of the Dolce&Gabbana fashion show as the brand presents its Spring/Summer 23 Men’s collection in Milan.

The Dolce&Gabbana collection is presented through 89 looks that combine new designs and revisit previous garments from the archives. It is presented with an understanding that a past is a past but that can also be brought into the present, charged with identity and uniqueness, generating a new vision of the brand’s DNA.

Looks featured in the fashion shows from the years 1990/2000 walked the runway but with an updated and fresh twist. The looks are layered with fabrics of the summer, denim, classic lace and cotton in warm tones, dusty hues and neutral colours, with accents of colour in the details and embroideries.

The garments and accessories have been re-labelled with the inscription “Re-Edition” which symbolises the re-visit of the collection. The label shows the year the garment was first presented and that of the new SS2023, each garment will have its own unique label depending on the year it was launched.
